Sasha Banks & Bayley welcome all challengers for tag titles

Sasha Banks and Bayley emerged victorious in their Elimination Chamber match last Sunday to become the first ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. On RAW this week, the Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection took to the crowd to recap their journey. During their celebration, they revealed that they will defend their titles not only on RAW, but on all three brands, including NXT.

NXT being involved in this decision has sparked the interest of Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai. Both women are currently on the inactive list due to injury, but that won’t keep them from throwing their names in the ring. Nox and Kai took to Twitter to alert the new champions of their interest. Bayley’s response informs them that she and Banks are ready.

The champions also mentioned they would defend their gold against any former talent as well. Hall of Famer and seven-time WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus congratulated Banks and Bayley on social media. This received a response from Bayley asking if she and her Team Bestie partner, Lita, were ready.

Stratus and Lita were last seen teaming together at the Evolution pay-per-view in October beating Mickie James and Alicia Fox. It is no secret to fans that the Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection cite these two as trailblazers and a match with them would be one to see. The road to WrestleMania is in full swing and this match could see a potential green light.
