Bayley & Sasha Banks take over NXT live event

Last month, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley and Sasha Banks promised that they would defend their titles against competitors from all brands. That includes Raw, SmackDown and even NXT.

As women of their word, the Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection made a surprise appearance at yesterday’s NXT Live house show in Largo, Florida. WWE posted footage of the altercation on their social media accounts.

After leaving a press conference right up the road for WrestleMania 36’s location reveal, the champions decided to visit their old stomping grounds for old time’s sake. After soaking in some raucous “Welcome back!” chants, Boss ‘N’ Hug cut a promo saying that they “came here for competition.” So they did some talent scouting by taking some front row seats for a Triple Threat Women’s Tag Team match.

The teams in the match were Aliyah and Vanessa Borne, Reina Gonzáles and Rhea Ripley and finally, the Sky Pirates (Io Shirai and Kairi Sane). The match went to a no contest when the heels beat down on the babyfaces. That is, until Boss ‘N’ Hug made the save.

Out of all of these NXT teams, who would you like to see challenge Boss ‘N’ Hug for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships? Comment below and let us know.
