Candice LeRae was also a part of the 2019 women’s Royal Rumble match. She has become quite stagnant in NXT, without a strong storyline.

Her time in the indies cemented her as a staple alongside Joey Ryan. WWE tends to shy away from intergender matches, but if she can find herself a tag team partner she could be a contender for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Lately, there has been a lot of crossover between the three brands so a winner from NXT could be likely. Placing LeRae in the Women’s Battle Royal could help give her additional leverage and popularity. If she could pull out a win then maybe it could propel her in the NXT title picture.
