Mickie James

Mickie James deserves another title run; it’s long overdue. James returned to WWE in 2016 after six years with other promotions. In the past three years, she has spent most of her time serving as a trusty sidekick to Alexa Bliss.

It’s time to finally step out of Bliss’ shadows and have a solid run at the top. As part of the recent Superstar Shake-Up, she joined SmackDown Live as a singles competitor.

This would be new territory for the veteran because she didn’t participate in the prior Money in the Bank matches. The possibilities she could have with the briefcase are endless.

Whether as a face or a heel, she can produce on the mic against whoever will be the champion at that time. Becky Lynch versus Mickie James has a nice ring to it. It is time for the former six-time women’s champion to take a step up the ladder and retrieve her golden ticket.
