Alexa Bliss pulled from Money in the Bank match

Update: It has been reported by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet that his sources have confirmed that Alexa’s injury is real and it is not a storyline. The injury still has not been confirmed.

WWE has just announced that Alexa Bliss will no longer compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match. The match will take place at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event this Sunday. She was one of eight women that are scheduled to participate.

Alexa Bliss is unable to compete as she is not medically cleared according to WWE. The medical reason behind her being sidelined has not been disclosed at this time. A replacement for her in the match has not been announced at this time. A suitable replacement has been promised.

This week on RAW, Bliss did not participate in the fatal-four-way match as scheduled. The match was scheduled to have all four participates in the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match from the RAW brand. Nikki Cross replaced her in the match due to her “luggage and gear” being lost while traveling to the United Kingdom. Cross went on to win that match.

Many names are circling the mouths of fans already of who will replace Bliss in this high profile match. Common names such as Nikki Cross and Sasha Banks top the list. Cross is an option due to her recent involvement in the fatal-four-way match as indicated earlier. Banks has been missing in action since WrestleMania due to the rumors of her unhappiness with the company. She has previously been listed as one of the odds on favorite to win the match although she is not a participant.

Who are your thoughts on who will take Alexa Bliss’s spot? Will it be Nikki Cross or Sasha Banks? Who would you like to see in the match? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section!
