Update: Educational fund set up for Ashley Massaro’s daughter

Update: Gail Kim has announced on her Twitter account that she will be auctioning off her ring gear. The gear is from her match with Tessa Blanchard at Rebellion which was her very last match ever. The proceeds will be going to Alexa. Other large contributions have been given to the education fund from Lilian Garcia and Mick Foley.

Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro, who passed away last week, is survived by her daughter Alexa. Gail Kim and other women in the wrestling community have set up a GoFundMe focusing on funding Alexa’s college education expenses.

The details of the GoFundMe can be found here. Every little bit helps, please donate what you can.

The beginning of the fund reads as follows:

“We, the Squared Circle Sisters who had the amazing honor of working with Ashley Massaro in the WWE, have come together to honor Ashley’s memory – and to create light and hope in the wake of tragedy.”

The account also features a heartwarming video dedicated to Ashley and Alexa.

It is wonderful to see how the wrestling community is coming together in the wake of such a tragedy.

Diva Dirt continues to send it’s condolences to all of Ashley’s loved ones.
