Additional title matches made official for The Summit

It has been previously reported that there will be a wrestling supershow named The Summit that will take place in August. This show will feature incredible talent from Smash Wrestling, RISE, SHIMMER, and Femme Fatales. During this event, four titles will be on the line for this huge event in Toronto, Canada.

KC Spinelli and Rosemary have already been announced as the two opponents to compete for the first ever Smash Wrestling Women’s Championship. Since then Phoenix of RISE Champion Zoe Lucas now knows who she will be facing. She will be facing Aerial Monroe in a rematch from their controversial match at RISE: LUMINOUS just a few weeks ago.

Monroe was cheated out of a possible victory due to the referee not seeing her hand on the ring rope to break the pin. Lucas took advantage of the ref’s delinquency and retained her title. Retribution is set in the eye of Monroe as she intends on climbing the mountain at The Summit to become the new Phoenix of RISE Champion.

Nicole Savoy, the Shimmer Women’s Champion, has held her title impressively since November 2017. Now that the title is making it’s way to Canada, Nicole Matthews has something to say about it. Matthews is a former Shimmer champ and has previously been reported as banned from the United States for five years. As a result, The Summit is her time to take the Shimmer Women’s Championship away from the United States. She intends on defending it around the world. Which Nicole will win this battle?

Matthews had the following to say about SHIMMER and her opponent:

What are your thoughts on these match announcements? Which title match are you most looking forward to seeing? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.

Mercedes Martinez is still waiting for her opponent to be announced for her Femme Fatales Championship. Check back in with Diva Dirt for any future developments for The Summit.
