Triple Threat Match announced for AEW’s Fyter Fest

AEW’s Chief Brand Officer, Brandi Rhodes, has announced a women’s match for their upcoming AEW event. Fyter Fest will take place on June 29 in Daytona Beach, Fla. A triple threat match has made its way on the card to feature Nyla Rose, Yuka Sakazaki, and Riho.

Rose had the following to say about the announcement:

All three women participated in AEW’s first event Double or Nothing in May. Rose was involved in a fatal-four way match which Dr. Britt Baker came out as the victor. Sakazaki and Riho participated in a six-woman tag team match on opposing teams. Riho’s team with Hikaru Shida and Ryo Mizunami picked up the win.

This is the first and only women’s match announced for Fyter Fest. Hopefully, at least another match will be announced in the coming week for the event. AEW has several female talents who didn’t partake in a match on their first event. Former two-time Impact Knockouts Champion Allie is one that comes to mind that should be showcased.

What do you think of this match being announced? What other matches would you like to see on the Fyter Fest card for the women? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section!!
