10 most underrated women in WWE history

Summer Rae

Summer Rae is mostly compared to Emma as a reason for being on this list.

Just like Emma, Rae never transitioned quite so well from NXT to the main roster. In NXT she was a founding member of the BFF’s that included future megastars Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair. She was the force behind turning Banks heel in NXT and even had her own title shot against Paige.

Once transferring over to the main roster Rae was put as Fandango’s dance partner. Where this gave her a lot of screen time, this took her away from participating as much in the ring. She was just as fantastic on the mic as she was in the ring and could hold her own against any competitor.

One of her most notable feuds was the fight with Layla on Rae being replaced by her as Fandango’s dance partner.

Rae, just like Emma, had the potential to be a top contender of the women’s division. She simply wasn’t used correctly during her tenure.
