Possible return date for Sasha Banks announced

Former Women’s Tag Team Champion Sasha Banks hasn’t been on WWE television since WrestleMania 35. At that event, she and Bayley dropped the tag titles to The IIconics. There have been previous reports in regards to her frustrations with the company which has led to her absence.

Monday Night Raw will be in Tampa, Fla. on July 22. The venue RAW will be held in, The Amalie Arena, has updated their website to include Banks as a Superstar that will be appearing. She is not listed in a match at this time.

Per WrestlingNews.co, on their instagram, they also report that Banks has been featured on the SummerSlam poster. SummerSlam will take place in Toronto, Canada on Aug. 11.

If she were to return on July 22 then this allows a few weeks of build up heading into SummerSlam. It is also important to note that this will be after the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view on July 14.

It was noted originally by Dave Meltzer in May that Banks had a sit down with Vince McMahon to iron out her frustrations. The meeting was said to have been a success and that she would return sometime later in the summer.

With the current news that Banks is coming back very soon can be coupled with the rumor of Ronda Rousey possibly coming back from her break from the WWE sooner than expected. It seems like the women’s division will be very strong if these two come back shortly.

If Banks does head back to RAW, we could maybe see a Banks-Lynch feud for the RAW Women’s Championship. This match could potentially take place at SummerSlam.
