Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross are the new Women’s Tag Team Champions

Earlier in the day, WWE announced that The IIconics would defend their titles on RAW. The decision would take place in a Fatal 4-Way tag team elimination match. They would be facing Fire & Desire, The Kabuki Warriors and Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.

Although The IIconics looked strong at the beginning of the match their good luck would dwindle. They became the first team to be eliminated as Billie Kay was pinned by Mandy Rose. The future of the championship is no longer iconic. We are guaranteed to have new champs.

The Kabuki Warriors shine next as Asuka battles Sonya Deville. Alexa Bliss is then tagged in and goes toe to toe with Kairi Sane. The Kabuki Warriors continue to stay in the ring since The IIconics elimination as Fire & Desire and Bliss & Cross take turns trying to put them away. Unfortunately for Rose, she suffered defeat for her team as she submits to the Asuka Lock and taps out. Down to two.

Asuka attempts to dominate Cross as she has an ankle lock applied. Cross attempts to crawl towards her corner to tag in Bliss. The ankle lock turns into a crossface and Cross is eventually able to break away and tag in Bliss. Cross ends up right back in the match and continues to try and wear Asuka down.

Both ladies end up tagging in their partners. Sane is able to unleash on Bliss. After a sliding forearm, Asuka is tagged back in. She then locks in the Asuka Lock but Bliss counters and almost gets a three count. Asuka tags in Sane to deliver the Insane Elbow but is knocked off the ring post by Cross.

Sane is knocked out by a right-hand from Bliss. Bliss hits Twisted Bliss and we have new tag team champions.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are the NEW Women’s Tag Team Champions.
