On the first RAW post-SummerSlam, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross will be defending their newly won tag titles. This was announced by WWE just a few moments ago on their Twitter account. The match will take place at at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It will be against The Kabuki Warriors.
Bliss and Cross won the titles this past Monday on RAW after defeating three other teams in an elimination match. The IIconics walked in as champions and were the first team to be eliminated by Fire & Desire. The decision boiled down to the new champions and The Kabuki Warriors.
Bliss delivered a right hand to Kairi Sane and executed her Twisted Bliss finisher for the victory.
It was previously rumored by the Wrestling Observer that this Fatal 4-way match was supposed to take place at SummerSlam but was bumped from the card. This newly developed news for the upcoming title defense solidifies that the tag titles will not be utilized at SummerSlam.
The titles have not been defended at a pay-per-view since WrestleMania in April.
