AEW on when the Women’s World Championship will first be defended

AEW continues to set the stage for their women’s roster surrounding their upcoming Women’s World Championship. All eyes are on the promotion to find out who will be their inaugural champion. Whoever becomes their first champion on Oct. 2 will have to defend their newly won title just two weeks later on their Oct. 16 show.

It has previously been announced that the new title will be unveiled at their next event All Out to take place on Aug. 31. At All Out during their Buy In prior to the main show, there will be a Casino Battle Royale. This match will determine the first competitor of the title match to take place on AEW’s television debut on Oct. 2.

There is currently no word on how the second opponent will be selected.

Who would you pick as the two to participate in the first title match? Who should the first winner defend against? Discuss this topic in the comment section.
