Triple Threat match set for SHINE Championship at SHINE 60

The next event for SHINE Wrestling is coming up fast and will be on Aug. 24. Allysin Kay will have the odds stacked against her as she defends her SHINE Championship in a Triple Threat match. She will be facing both Mercedes Martinez and Ivelisse.

Kay is in her second reign as champion where she won it back in May. Both Ivelisse and Martinez have had a crack at the title while Kay has held the title in both her reigns.

Ivelisse hasn’t held the title since she won it in 2016 and she was never defeated when she lost it. She had to relinquish the title due to injury. Martinez is a highly decorated indie talent with many championships but she has yet to win the SHINE Championship.

Kay will be defending her titles on her home turf so perhaps that will give her the boost she needs to retain her title.

The rest of the SHINE 60 card is as follows:

Brandi Lauren vs. Avery Taylor

“Double D” Rose vs. Holidead

Leah Vaughan vs. Lindsay Snow

Tag Team Showcase
Team AAA of Aja Perera & Aerial Monroe w/ Ayla vs. BTY of Marti Belle & Jayme Jameson

SHINE Nova Championship Match
Shotzi Blackheart (c) defends vs. Natalia Markova w/ Brandi Lauren

SHINE Tag Team Championship Match
Rainbow Bright of Luscious Latasha & Gabby Gilbert (c) defends vs. Team Sea Stars of Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo

If you would like to watch this event you can order it by clicking here. It will take place on Aug. 24 with a bell time of 4 p.m. ET.

Do you think that Allysin Kay will make it out of SHINE 60 still champion? Will any other titles change hands? Leave a comment with your thoughts in the comment section.
