Bayley vs. Flair confirmed for SmackDown Title at Clash of Champions

On tonight’s SmackDown Live, Charlotte Flair was the guest on A Moment of Bliss. The conversation between Alexa Bliss and Flair started with a talk about her recent victory over Trish Stratus at SummerSlam. Flair denied that Stratus passed the torch to her but instead she took it.

She then turned her focus to Bayley. She criticized the SmackDown Women’s Champion by claiming she wasn’t brand enough to be the face of the division. Bayley made her way out to confront Flair.

Bayley let the Queen of all Eras know that she is in fact the champion which means that she is better than her and that this fact must eat her up inside. Flair strongly states that after she beats her at Clash of Champions she will be bringing back prestige to the title.

Bayley considered this a challenge and accepted her request to make the title match at Clash of Champions official. Prior to leaving, Bayley says she cannot wait to do everyone a favor and shut the Queen’s mouth. She then shoves Flair off her chair unto the stage before she walks to the back.

What are your thoughts of this highly predictable championship match announcement? Who would you like to come out of Clash of Champions as the SmackDown Women’s Champion? Chat about your thoughts in the comment section.
