Kacy Catanzaro reportedly finished with WWE *Updated*

Update: Catanzaro has posted on her social media accounts a video of her delivering a codebreaker to Jessamyn Duke during an NXT event. The caption on the video is “I’m gonna do things people have never seen before.”

There is currently no confirmation from WWE nor Catanzaro that she has put in her request for release/if it was granted due to a back injury. She is still listed on WWE’s website as a current superstar at this time.

It is being reported by Squared Circle Sirens that according to sources within NXT that Kacy Catanzaro is no longer with WWE. Prior to her time with the company, she was known for her being on American Ninja Warrior. The sources say that she has suffered a back injury involving her discs and decided to stop wrestling. She asked for her release and it is said to have been granted.

Her signing with the company happened in January 2018. She had been progressing nicely within NXT and even made an appearance in the Royal Rumble match this year. As entrant number 19, she lasted a little over ten minutes. She was eliminated by Rhea Ripley. She impressed many with her athleticism in that match as she used her hands to walk her way back to the ring to avoid elimination.

Catanzaro was a part of last years Mae Young Classic tournament. She made it to the second round, and much like her result from the Royal Rumble, she was eliminated by Rhea Ripley.

WWE nor Kacy have officially announced her exit at this time.

Diva Dirt wishes the best for Kacy Catanzaro.
