Candice LeRae earns the number one contender spot for NXT’s Women’s Title

NXT is officially on the USA Network and we have a new number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. As NXT is currently the number one trend on Twitter, Candice LeRae won a Fatal Four-way match which makes her Shayna Baszler‘s next opponent.

The match included prior competitors that Baszler has had the pleasure of defeating. Mia Yim, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai all attempted to pull out a win for another shot at championship gold.

These four women put on a tremendous high action-packed match and proved why NXT is a brand to watch. LeRae would solidify her spot as a top contender by pinning Yim after delivering a Lionsault. After her huge win, she would be confronted by Baszler along with Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke. It’s time for Ms. Gargano to take the title and in order to do that she needs to take out the Queen of Spades.

It has since been confirmed that LeRae will get her title shot against Baszler in just two weeks on Oct. 2.
