    -

After losing a number one contenders spot for the Impact World Championship to Sami Callihan at Slammiversary, Tessa Blanchard still has her sights on making history. Heading into Bound for Glory, Blanchard has made an emphatic statement.

She explains in a backstage interview that she is no stranger to ladder matches. Her participation in the X-Division Championship Ladder Match tonight to her is just another day at the office. She is also used to having the odds stacked against her as she has been the brunt of oVe’s numerous attacks.

Blanchard declares that she has had a plan and a goal to reach the “pinnacle of professional wrestling.” This started back at Slammiversary. She vows no one is going to stand in her way and she will become the first female to win the X-Division Championship.

After she takes out Jake Crist, she has her sights set on Sami Callihan next. The one person that has continued to best her.
