    Discussion Post: NXT 11/27/19

Welcome to this week’s discussion post for NXT. Coming off of a very successful wrestling weekend where the women of NXT dominated there is no telling what may take place tonight. At this time a match hasn’t been announced just yet, but NXT has been regularly hosting two women’s matches a week. Since winning at Survivor Series, NXT is boasting that they are the “A” show.

Dakota Kai has a lot of explaining to do after she viciously turned on her best friend Tegan Nox along with the rest of her teammates at WarGames. As a result of Dakota’s betrayal, this left Team Ripley in a 4 to 2 disadvantage. Granted, Rhea Ripley and Candice LeRae still pulled out a victory it doesn’t diminish how Nox must be feeling.

Speaking of Ripley, she has had an impressive past couple of weeks. Since Friday Night SmackDown she has pinned Charlotte Flair, Shayna Baszler, and Sasha Banks. She also led both her team at WarGames and Survivor Series to victory. What is next for “The Nightmare”? Will she be knocking on Baszler’s door to take the NXT Women’s Championship from her?

Baszler may have fallen to Ripley at WarGames, but the only two-time NXT Women’s Champion secured a win against both Bayley and Becky Lynch in the main event at Survivor Series. Does this win negate the fact that Ripley could be waiting in the shadows?

Feel free to use this post to talk about the show before, during, and after.

Check back in with Diva Dirt after the show for this week’s Winners & Losers of NXT.
