    Tessa Blanchard comments on The Sandman’s remarks at WrestleCade

    It was previously reported that Jordynne Grace had brought to light on her Twitter account on comments made by former ECW Champion, The Sandman. She stated that he said to the women’s locker room at WrestleCade that women should not be main eventing any wrestling event. He stated in fact that it was “wrong.”

    At the WrestleCade event, the women were the main event in a four-way that included Taya Valkyrie, Jordynne Grace, Rosemary, and Su Yung. Yung was a replacement for Tessa Blanchard. Blanchard was suggested by doctor’s to sit out this match and she agreed.

    Blanchard was still present at the event as she announced Yung as her replacement. She also had words to share to The Sandman about his remarks. She did not call him out by name but stated it was an “old ECW guy who had a beer in his hand.”

    She explained that he stated that women shouldn’t be main eventing this event or any event for that matter. She states that it is almost the year 2020 and his comments are a “crock of horseshit.” You can view the video below to see this moment.
