Top 5 women’s WrestleMania matches

4. Victoria vs Trish Stratus vs Jazz – WrestleMania 19

Featuring three of the best ever to do it, this triple threat match was great. At the time WWE had a really strong women’s division with talents such as Molly Holly, Lita, Ivory, and Jaqueline. So after years of there being no women’s matches on the WrestleMania card at all, it was great to see WWE giving the women’s matches more time and opportunity to show what they could do at the “big stage.”

Victoria and Trish had been at each other’s throats since Victoria had debuted some months earlier. Victoria had captured the title from Trish Stratus at Survivor Series in a brutal Hardcore match.

Stratus would continue to chase for the title had a match against Jazz on RAW to determine the number one contender for Victoria’s title at WrestleMania. During the match, Victoria would interfere with causing a disqualification. So it was announced that Victoria would defend the title against both Stratus and Jazz in a triple threat match at WrestleMania.

Jazz and Victoria Jazz and Victoria looked great in this match as they dominated with good strong power moves to double team Stratus in the early throws of the match but would inevitably end up going against one another.

The crowd was fully invested in Stratus who held her own against much bigger, stronger and aggressive opponents, showing a fierceness and tenacity that she would use to her advantage and recapture the WWW Women’s Championship for the fourth time.
