In 2018 in New Orleans. The SmackDown women’s champion Charlotte Flair, faced the undefeated Asuka at WrestleMania 34, in what some argue the best women’s match to grace the WrestleMania canvas.
At the time this was a dream match that fans had been waiting for. The build was great, the storyline enticing and the match up highly anticipated.
The match was made when Asuka won the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble and chose to challenge Charlotte at WrestleMania. They would not disappoint as they would put on a wrestling masterclass, with amazing high-spots complete with a treat of pure wrestling.
Charlotte would emerge victorious to continue her journey to become the most decorated female in WWE history and Asuka would, unfortunately, not only lose the match but her streak and her direction as a wrestler.
