The match just didn’t gel for me. It was very intense; Flair bled and appeared to hurt her right knee, Ronda had bruising on her inner thigh, took a nasty bump on her neck and broke her hand, according to news sources. However hard-hitting it was, it never seemed to gain its legs. This was one of those decent matches that could have been good to great with audience enthusiasm, but the lack thereof hurt it. This is an instance where the match was about the work and not the wrestling, and that brought it down.
