Given the players in place, and the actual story of Maria’s injuries, especially as a non-wrestler, she did well for herself. The match was a bit on the slow side, and Maria’s selling could have used some work, but it was a solid affair. The Kelly-Go-Round was the real crowd pleaser, but the match wasn’t terribly exciting. However, there was a story, and it was told well. This match sticks out due to Maria having the courage to be a celebrity who had a lot to lose should she further injure herself, and a non-wrestler suffering as she was to still be willing to go out there and wrestle. Kudos to the ladies as well for keeping her safe.
