Riho to defend High Speed Championship in a three-way battle at Korakan Hall July 26

STARDOM has returned with a bang. Since the lockdown in Japan was lifted the company have put on three shows in front of a sold-out (minimal) capacity live crowd. The fallout from the shows has given us four championship matches and a tournament for the vacant Wonder of STARDOM Championship.

Wonder of STARDOM Championship Tournament

On July, 17, STARDOM returns to Korakuen Hall for the first time since the Cinderella Tournament on March, 24. This show will host the beginning of a tournament to crown a new Wonder of STARDOM Champion. The tournament will feature Giulia, Tam Nakano, Natsuko Tora and Konami.

The first match in the tournament will see Giulia face Konami.

The second match will be Tora vs Tam.

But that is not all for the big match announcements. It was also announced that the vacant Future of STARDOM Championship will be on the line in a Three Way match between Maika, Saya Iida and Saya Kamitani.

Artist of STARDOM Championships

On July, 23 in Osaka there is a six women tag team match for the Artist of STARDOM Championships. The Oedo Tai trio of Natsuko Tora, Saki and Sumire challenging Donna del Mondo’s, Giulia, Syuri and Maika.

World of STARDOM Championship

Mayu Iwatani vs. Jungle Kyona for the World of STARDOM Championship. This will be for the first time ever the two competitors have met in singles competition.

At New Summer 2020 – Day 2 Kyona challenged Iwatani for the title and Iwatani gladly accepted. The match will take place in Kyona’s hometown of Nagoya on July, 24.

High Speed Championship

Riho made her return to STARDOM at New Summer 2020 – Day 1. Riho teamed with Mayu Iwatani to take on Momo Watanabe and AZM. STARDOM have wasted little time in getting back to business and have announced that Riho will defend her High Speed Championship in a Three Way Battle against AZM and Starlight Kid. The match will take place at Korakuen Hall on July, 26.

Also at that event a new Wonder of STARDOM champion will be crowned when the finals of the tournament will take place.

To say we are excited for the rest of STARDOM’s July schedule would be a massive understatement. Check back for the results of all shows.

What do you make of the matches and which one are you looking forward to the most? Let us know in the comments below. As always stay tuned to Diva Dirt for all of your STARDOM news and updates.
