AEW All Out is here and features two highly anticipated women’s matches.
The first match will see Big Swole finally gets her hands on Britt Baker as they face off in a Tooth and Nail match.
Baker and Swole have been at each other’s throats for months. But because of Baker’s injury, they haven’t been able to get physical in the ring. Despite this lack of action, both competitors have managed to keep the feud entertaining and relevant. The feud has seen kidnappings, restraining orders and two matches that Swole had to be victorious in to get to this point.
Most recently we saw Baker blindside Swole during an interview to add further fuel to the fire.
The match will be a Tooth and Nail Match, which is essentially a No DQ, Falls Count Anywhere match. But it will emanate from Dr Baker’s dental practice and in a “cinematic” style.
To add further emphasis on the match, it was moved from the Buy In to the main card.
There’s no telling what the match will entail, which makes it all the more exciting.
The second women’s match, and one that is sure to be a classic is for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Hikaru defends the AEW Women’s Title against the NWA Women’s World Champion, Thunder Rosa.
The build for this match has been quick but very interesting. Thunder Rosa made a surprise appearance on Dynamite and directly called out Shida. Shida being the fighting champion she is gladly accepted and a week later the match was official.
Thunder Rosa then showed everyone what she can do in the ring. On this week’s Dynamite Rosa defeated Serena Deeb in a highly technical and competitive match.
Thunder Rosa is just what Shida and the AEW women’s divsion needs. As the NWA Women’s World Champion, she brings an air of threat and legitmacy to the match. Rosa is just the opponant Shida needs right now as she brings the competition Shida has called out for in the past.
Shida and Rosa are both highly-skilled wreslters that will no doubt put on one of the best matches AEW has hosted.
Could we see Rosa leave AEW All Out as double champion or will Shida retain? Whatever the outcome we are all winners.
