Deonna Purrazzo may be the Knockouts Champion but she has been working without an official contract signed with IMPACT Wrestling. Fightful is reporting that she has been offered a long-term offer by the company. Although being offered, there is no word that she has officially signed.
The details from Fightful are as follows:
“After months of no-contract offer, Fightful can confirm that IMPACT Wrestling has offered their Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo a full-time contract with the company. There’s no word on whether or not pen has been put to paper, but we’re told it’s at minimum a two-year deal with financial increases as the contract goes on. There were rumors backstage that Purrazzo was going to leave the company in October, which led to an offer finally being made.”
Purrazzo won the title from Jordynne Grace in July at Slammiversary after Grace held the title since January. She would then go on to successfully defend the title against Grace in the first-ever Knockouts Ironman Match at Emergence. Kylie Rae is next up to challenge Purrazzo as she will have her title match at Bound for Glory in October.
There has been no official word on the deal by either IMPACT or Purrazzo at the time of this writing. All credit for the report goes to Fightful.
