Green made her long-awaited debut on SmackDown last week in a Fatal 4-way against Natalya, Liv Morgan, and Tamina. Unfortunately for her, she encountered an injury in that match which took her out early on.
Further reporting states that Green was actually supposed to win that match. This was for a spot on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series which takes place this Sunday.
Fightful was told that after months on the sidelines, Vince McMahon met with Green to discuss creative plans for her. This included her move to SmackDown. It is being said the meeting was positive and Paul Heyman was a driving force in her push prior to him being removed from the role he was in.
During that meeting, the name change was proposed. It is also being categorized as a potential nickname and that is, “Victorious.” Concerns on that happening were said to be in regards to trademark issues. Internal rundowns showed that both the names Green and “Victorious” appeared which indicates it may have been a nickname that would have been added to her name.
This change or addition would have been announced in a post-match interview, but with her injury, that didn’t take place.
