Unfortunately, the first ever Awesome Kong vs Mickie James match has once again been called off. Promotion, Northeast Wrestling announced via its Facebook page that Kong cancelled her appearance late last night due to an ongoing back injury. They write:
Northeast Wrestling Fan Page Awesome Kong contacted Northeast Wrestling at midnight last night notifying us that she will be unable to appear this evening due to a back injury. Northeast Wrestling would like to apologize as she promised us on Monday that would definitely be wrestling Mickie James tonight.
No new opponent has been announced yet.
