tara is the most skilled wrestler and shes been wrestling the longest

    • sanchezdiego96

How long you’ve been wrestling doesn’t determine your ability. And if you are going by how long someone has wrestled then that would be Ayako Hamada.

    • Jamesgangforever

@kleinberg97 Mickie has been wrestling longer than tara. She began a whole year before tara.

      • _Bryan_

true, however tara has been in mainstream wrestling for much longer than mickie, the longest of any modern female wrestler

  • G32106

I voted for Madison on this one, but Natalya is also really good.

  • TheLadySamantha

YES! Nattie totally deserves this one.

  • shameronstar

Despite her brief time in TNA, Hamada was probably one of the most impressive female wrestlers I had seen because of her versatile and aggressive style.

  • shameronstar

Also, I believe Natalya is deserving of this award. She kind like Molly Holly because she practically a wrestling textbook come to life because her technique is usually very sharp and sound. I want her to cleanly beat Beth this year:)

  • sanchezdiego96

This was a hard one but I did vote for Nattie. She’s an amazing technical wrestler.

  • Johnyfaction3

    So far!
    Divas 12
    KO 1
    Indy 0

    • Johnyfaction3

unless you don’t want to count maryse as a diva!

    • Neidhart – James – Del Rey – Yoneyama

      Popularity > Quality

      said the Diva Dirt readers.

  • Dave Muscarella

Sara Del Rey, Hamada, Melissa, and Hailey Hatred are all better than anyone in WWE. But they arent well known enough.

    • pumped up kicks

I voted for Del Rey! Hopefully wwe gets their head out their ass and signs her! The mainstream needs to know how awesome she really is.

  • sugarrush28

I think I voted for Cheerleader Melissa for this one. Nattie isn’t a bad choice and I would’ve cheered for Hamada as well

  • Rhawk

Sigh, typical Diva audience voting for the divas when clearly people like a Sara Del Ray, Ayako Hamada, Cheerleader Melissa and Madison Eagles are far superior wrestlers to Natalya, even though she is one of the best in mainstream right now.

If this site were to have a new years resolution, it SHOULD be to intorduce more of the indies to the site audience and as much as possible.

    • Jamesgangforever

i voted for Sara Del Ray.

      • Dave Muscarella

        Its REY. R-E-Y. Not Ray!!!!!

    • mariah.

I don’t think it’s fair to blame it on the site. They expose the indies as much as they can, but at the end of the day the mainstream promotions will always have more fans. There’s nothing that can be done to change that.

  • shannymac

Even though I voted for Melissa, Nattie deserves this as well. If only she got more chances to show off her talent.

  • MadisonMaryse

I can accept Natalya winning as she is the most skilled WWE diva and popularity wins but Mickie being runner-up is a complete joke. She botches her own finisher 9 times out of 10.

A shame as Serena, Eagles, and Hamada are legit candidates for top 3 best in the world. If only they were in WWE I guess.

    • JaiiO

I see you pressed tbh. Stay distressed hun. Mickie > the rest

  • CenaApproved

    Natalya totally deserved this !

  • Mikas

This is a good example why awards like these are just a popularity contest. Natalya, Beth and Mickie are good wrestlers, nobody can deny that. But when it comes pure to skills, they arent in the same league as Hamada, SDR, Melissa, Serena, Madison, Mercedes or Lufisto. Of the 13 women presented i would place Natalya at #8.

  • capricornscott

No offense to Natalya, Mickie, or Beth….but this is a joke! I think all three are very talented, but Hamada, Melissa, Hatred, Eagles, Del Rey, Martinez, and Sjodin could wrestle circles around them all.

  • rico

While I dont watch the indies, I have seen Hamada wrestle and she didnt really impress me tbh.She was ok, but I prefer Nattie to her.

  • adifferentsame

Surprise surprise, that the most skilled wrestler is also the worst utilised on TV. Gail Kim last year, anyone?

  • adifferentsame

Oh, and in terms of pure skill, technical prowess, versatility, presence and character growth, I would have chosen Madison Eagles.

  • _Bryan_

imo, i think tara is the most skilled wrestler i have ever seen. she can adapt to any style and has variety that is lacking in other contestants.

  • WWFoverWWE

Imagine the riot of kelly kelly won this xD

  • Spideywebby

I think the most skilled should have been someone who is constantly show-casing their skill during 2011, not some divas who did nothing much & yet was nominated the Most Skilled Wrestler of 2011.

  • Bhentoooot

Tara for me is the most skilled and versatile wrestler and Melina! Natalya is good but her moveset is limited to powerhouse. -_-

  • DAFereldan91

I concur. As much as I love Beth, I must admit that Nattie is more superior than her. The other nominees are insanely awesome too, especially Hamada!

  • art

no one knows in wwe how talented beth & nattie truly are.nattie gets to show off some technical but beth doesnt because shes a power house..

  • ETR

for putting on good matches, i’d give this award this year to :
    1- Madison Eagles
    2-Sara Del Rey
    3- Cheerleader Melissa

    • ETR

btw even Beth or Mickie and even Gail Kim, are more ” skilled ” than Natalya IMO
