Stephanie McMahon Featured in Entertainment Weekly’s “What Did You Do Today?”

WWE mainstay and VP of Creative Stephanie McMahon is featured in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, taking part in the magazine’s “What Did You Do Today?” piece. EW shadowed Stephanie on an average Wednesday, getting a peek into the life of a top figure in the WWE.

Check out some snippets below:

8:30 am – Review emails about Tuesday night’s taping of Smackdown
“I had to catch up on last night’s show, and went back and forth with some of writers about what worked, what didn’t work, what deviated from the script, and why. I also get a Trendrr report about what reactions were like on social networks and the web.”

2:00 pm – Writers meeting with dad (and WWE chariman and CEO) Vince McMahon
“We have 16 writers, plus Vince. Today we talked about the Royal Rumble, and then we talked about WrestleMania. Vince–I always call him Vince at work–is very open to listening and discussing different ideas, but once he makes his final decision, he’s the boss.”

6:30 pm – Daily recap meeting with director of operations, talent, Shawn Cogdill
“After going over the day’s decisions and taking a look at ongoing issues, my husband and I left together at 7:15 pm. Work didn’t stop until at 10:30 pm, though–that’s when I was done reading scripts while doing cardio in my home gym.”

It’s a pretty interesting look into the business side of the WWE, so we highly recommend checking out the full article, which you can find in the January 20th edition of Entertainment Weekly (the one with Batman on the cover), on newsstands now.
