I was hoping this would be something to do with the UK tour, none the less I know the winner and can’t wait for this match.

  • Melina&Mickie4ever!

Tara Tara Tara Tara! 5X KC O(?_?)O

  • bromero329

so happy that tara will be on our tv more :D

and i love this. face vs face vs face :D

rare that we see this just like heel vs heel :D

  • Viva La Diva

    Ohhhh this will be good!

  • JJ

I wish TNA’s promotional pics were in colour without the stylised effects. That looks like it would be a great picture of Tara!!!

Of the three, Tara is the most exciting prospect to face Gail. They’ve had great interactions in the past and I’m sure theyd be even better today. I’d love to see a lengthy feud between the two women, ending in a ladder match.

  • misschrissi7

Good to see Tara finally getting another push. As for EY and ODB, i like that pairing

tara getting a push is awesome but i would love to see in the future melina or jillian get a shot if they sign with tna

  • thejoshifanx

The TNA Knockouts Championship changes hands way too much. It doesn’t mean anything now.

I’d like to see Sarita be champion and then face Winter for the belt. They’re the only two women in the company I give a damn about.

  • joeyesrojo

How about we not complain about TNA? At least they’re giving us a Women’s Wrestling product. And a good one at that!

  • CursedMilkshake

Why does everybody spoil the results in the comments already? There are people who don’t read spoilers and don’t want to know them.
Someone already spoiled the results for me before but there might be others who don’t know the results yet.

  • thejoshifanx

  • thejoshifanx

Well I agree that it’s better than WWE, but that’s not saying much. They still call their women “knockouts” and they turn down women with talent, and have been shifting towards the model type. TNA has the potential to be great but it’s always disappointment.

I’m still especially bitter about Ayako and SDR so forgive my harshness haha

  • art

i hope tara wins but it will prob be velvet or mickie…i think tara & gail would be an awesome feud…

  • Jhonmarco

LOL! Yes let’s praise TNA for giving us women’s wrestling!!! No, just stop. Their division needs plenty of work like pushing homegrown talent, title changes too frequent, tag titles meaning something, etc. Don’t even get me started on the Gail situation.

Joshifanx, personally all of TNA’s women are solid, even the green Brooke & Rosita (show promise).

  • thejoshifanx

Well TNA does have a higher quality of women’s wrestling. Some are good wrestlers. Some are decent. I’d rather have Ayako Hamada, Jessicka Havok, Mercedes Martinez, Sara del Rey, etc. over most he Knockouts. The only one that I really care for is Sarita.

TNA needs to stop copying the WWE in every aspect especially the women’s division, from calling their women degrading names, to hiring ex WWE women. There is SO much potential there. They already have them in hardcore matches, main events, they give them TV, and they get ratings. I don’t want to see them fall down the WWE path.

  • CursedMilkshake

I actually like the idea of titles changing hands quickly because that way watching matches where titles are on the line is way more exciting and unpredictable. With long reigns there is a big chance that a challenger wins the title after 2 or 3 matches, with shorter reigns the challenger could win it after 1 match already.
I do understand what everyone says about the prestige of the title going down (that’s probably not good English, I couldn’t come up with the right word), but does a prestigious title make watching wrestling more exciting? I don’t think it really matters.

  • DarknessRuler

Stop spoiling!!! I hope staff watch this topic and DELETE spoiler comments.

Anyways, this match is going to be awesome. I hope they were given alot of time with NO commercial break. Man was I pissed when they had Mickie vs Madison go into commercial.

  • thejoshifanx

I don’t like championships changing hands a lot. I think it takes away from the value of the championship.

  • Jhonmarco

Agreed, they could hire some much more talented women like Del Rey but for some reason they don’t. A damn shame.

  • thejoshifanx

    Seriously it’s because
    1. They don’t get her.
-Uh okay then. She’s a woman who wrestles. I don’t see what’s not to get.
    2. She needs to prettier by their standards
-To me, Sara del Rey is the second hottest woman in the world (after Jessicka Havok) so she does appeal to some people. I’m also not alone in thinking that she is hot.

TNA turning down women like Ayako, Leva, Sara, etc. is why I don’t take them seriously

  • jen07201

For anybody intrested this is what happened in 1/24 TNA in Brussels, Belgium
Mickie James and Tara defeated Madison Rayne and Gail Kim. Tara came out filming the crowd. A lot of humor and screaming from Madison. It ended with Mickie and Tara winning and Hebner kissing Madison.

  • Joel

How is the word ‘Knockouts’ degrading? People never put thought into their comments and they are usually half-assed and utterly embarrassing. You ask this in many TNA posts and I answer it, it’s a brand! WWE have Divas and Superstars, TNA has Knockouts. Is it really hard to get your head around that? I know your next point would be ‘Indy companies don’t do that’. It’s because they don’t have to, they are not selling masses of merchandise or going out autograph signing. Plus it’s easier to say, ‘The Knockouts Division’ than ‘TNA’s female wrestling division’. Plus they want a title that isn’t ‘Women’s Championship’ but their own word.

How the hell is hiring ex-WWE Divas copying WWE? If Havok went to Shimmer would they be copying WSU? NO! Wrestlers get released from WWE and they want to continue on with their job. Why would Mickie/Gail/Tara wrestle in the indy scene where they will make A LOT less than what TNA are offering them?

TNA can’t hire Del Rey, Havok and Bates without releasing current girls, do you really think that one of them three should take a way what another girl rightfully has?

Lastly, how do you know there is not a COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE reason why Sarita isn’t getting pushed? For all we know she could have a contract with TNA that says she only wrestling ‘x’ times per ‘x’. Stop assuming things!

  • LayTorres

Good matches, gonna be an exciting show. BUT,
What is going to happen to Brooke Tessmacher once Tara becomes a singles competitor again? will she be in the backburner again?

  • Jhonmarco

I guarentee that Del Rey, Havok, & Bates could do more for TNA than Mickie, Tara, & Gail combined could. Those girls at least have had tv exposure, girls like Del Rey have had none. Someone like Mickie James has such stock behind her name she could surely make big bucks on the indies. The thing is someone like Jessicka Havok has yet to be on tv, while Mickie has been on tv since 2005. That’s getting close to 7 years. Is that really an excuse your going for with the Sarita situation?

  • thejoshifanx

The word knockouts is degrading because they’re not called wrestlers, which they should be.

They’re copying WWE by picking up almost all of their women from WWE. They also call their women “knockouts” which is versus the divas. They hire a lot of ex WWE men. They don’t create their own stars and rely on other companies to. They used to be good but are now way too sports entertainment.

Yeah, I think women like that should be in those spots over women who aren’t good in the ring. Diva-esque women? Hell no. I want to see women with talent. Fire the ones who aren’t any good. I doubt some would wrestle much more afterwards because they like being on TV.

When Sarita is wrestling for TNA she isn’t showcased.

  • jen07201

I love Eric Young and ODB they are so hilarious

  • jen07201

    Missing : Sarita and Rosita

  • VarsityBaseDude

I hope we have a heel turn in the match! That would be cool.

Imagine if Velvet decides to join Gail and Madison. Forget her as a face, she would be an awesome heel with the other two. Let’s call them the Bitches People! :)

I would have so much fun writing for women wrestling haha.

  • norisclouds

I know they don’t have a lot of TV time but I wish they would write for more than one Knockout at a time, it would create more tension when they have these number 1 contender matches. Don’t make who is going to win so obvious.

  • Jhonmarco

I agree about Sarita, it’s WAY overdue. As for Winter, um she’s failed to be an over heel & when you can’t get heat in the impact zone something’s wrong. Her wrestling has sucked in TNA & I’m more interested in Sarita/Velvet feud or Sarita/Gail. Maybe even Sarita/Tara.

  • thejoshifanx

I don’t think Winter is over, but I like her in ring work and I find her personality better than the other women. While I can admit that some of the women in TNA are decent wrestlers or are improving, some are horrible to me or I don’t like their personalities so that’s why I picked her.

On a side note, I’m still bitter at TNA over not having women like Ayako Hamada and Sara del Rey (my two favorites!) when they could. Leva Bates is another. There are also women that have shown interest. To me, TNA now is more focused on hiring ex WWE women and having them in the spotlight. Hence why Sarita is never going to get a chance.

On another side note, why does TNA call their women “knockouts”? Why can’t they call them wrestlers?

  • Juan

Nah the Knockouts division is fine the way it is! Perfect combination of wrestling ability and sex appeal. Hiring someone like Sara Del Rey would ruin the latter, although I have no idea why TNA hasn’t tried to hire Jessica Havok, shed be a perfect heel!! Sarita however deserves a title reign!!

  • art

oh she does….well good for her…

  • Joel

I hope it’s less jokey on the Impact tapings in London that I’m going to.

  • jen07201

Yeah it should be and I’m wondering if we will have new tag champs soon.

  • Joel

I almost forgot them titles existed. That’s the truth. I think they should retire them, the only talent they did any justice was TNT in my opinion.

  • jen07201

But then it would be like WWE with only one title and it would be boring in my opinion Gail Kim and Madison are boring with the titles always cheating I would like for Velvet Sky and Mickie James to win the tag titles together they would be fun to watch.

  • jen07201

Or she could help Tara so they don’t screw her what I am worried about is what will happen to Mickie?

  • number1AngelinaLovefan

Agreed it’s not fair to others who have not read the spoilers so STOP SAYING WHO WIN’S

  • number1AngelinaLovefan

Yeah I think Brooke will help Tara so she doesn’t get screwed. As for Mickie she needs to be out if the tittle picture foelr awhile

  • A.E

same question goes for velvet because both of them scheduled to appear at against all odds but how mickie and velvet gonna get handled in the ppv

  • LayTorres

I am sure Mickie will be alright. She will be involved in Gail’s downfall somehow. Same goes for Velvet. Remember, it’s Tara, Velvet, Mickie against Madison and Gail.

  • A.E

i don’t think brook well appear soon because she is sorta busy in the hooter thing.

  • beau

I completely agree! That picture of Tara is stunning. I do, however, prefer the effect; I’m not a fan of the color of that ring gear.

I would love a Tara/Gail feud. I was pleased with Mickie’s hunt for the title, but they don’t quite mesh nearly as well as Tara and Gail do together. Oh, the possibilities!

  • jen07201

Or what would be better Psycho Mickie returns that would be awesome but I doubt they would turn Mickie heel since she is a top babyface.

  • Kessuki

hahahaha i love your username ‘cursed milkshake’ :D.

you make a good point about the prestigious titlle. almost every belt has lost some sort of prestigious meaning and i can think of awful champions which to me is far worse than having the belt change so often.

having a belt for so long doesnt make it any exciting – the past few wwe divas title changes are forgettable and the current one is looking the same way.

as long as the wrestler is convincingly able to beat the champion for the belt with a good level of skilled wrestling and create a match worth watching thats good enough for me too.

i dont understand some people who one minute say she didnt deserve the belt shes only been here two minutes and when shes lost it theyre quick to call the title change a hot potato game. i respect opinions but not 2 faced opinions and bias against KO division.

  • A.E

how hiring sara del ray gonna ruin everything she is good looking and deadly talented but the ko division they have fine talent but some people don’t give credit with the credit is due

  • Jhonmarco

Juan, because Del Rey doesn’t show any sex appeal? Um she’s a wrestler, probably one of the most no nonsense wrestlers in the business.

A.E, I didn’t understand your first statement at all. Grammer skills! I do give credit to the division though, much better than the divas. That’s not saying much & improvement is possible. And needed.

  • thejoshifanx

To me, Sara del Rey is the second sexiest woman in the world after Jessicka Havok, so it’s all a matter of taste.

  • VarsityBaseDude

Psycho Mickie would be amazing! She could stalk Velvet or hmmm even admire Gail… that would be a nice twist. But yeah, the fans like her too much as a face. A change would be cool though.
