Australia’s Shazza McKenzie to Make SHIMMER Debut

SHIMMER has just announced that Australia’s Shazza McKenzie will make her debut for the company at their March 17 and 18 tapings!

SHIMMER says of the blonde bombshell, “With former SHIMMER Champion and PWWA founder Madison Eagles currently sidelined indefinitely with injury, another Australian competitor joins the SHIMMER ranks less than two weeks from now. Shazza McKenzie comes to us from the PWWA promotion, and looks to make her own mark on the wrestling scene in the United States much like Madison, Jessie McKay, and Kellie Skater have over the past several years.”

McKenzie made her debut in August 2008, managing Bluey Bonza, and went on to wrestle her first match a month later in September.

She has worked for the likes of PWA Australia, PWA Queensland, the Australasian Wrestling Federation, Melbourne City Wrestling and WarZone Wrestling and can proudly say that she defeated future WWE developmental Diva (and former SHIMMER star herself) Tenille in her last Australian match before joining WWE.

Last night, Shazza made her US debut for East Coast Wrestling Association in Newark, Delaware., defeating Kylie Pierce in a singles match. She has also been honing her skills at both the CHIKARA and Combat Zone Wrestling training academies.
