Your Two Cents: SHIMMER Championship Contenders

“Your Two Cents” is our interactive feature where we gauge the opinions of our Twitter and Facebook followers on different discussions in women’s wrestling.

This week, we’re asking this: With the next SHIMMER tapings just around the corner, we want to know: who should Champion Cheerleader Melissa defend her title against at the shows? We’ve read your responses on our social media pages and picked some of the best submissions to highlight here on the website. As always, you can join the debate by leaving your comments!

Our Two Cents

Batting for Team DD this week, it’s Steven giving us his personal opinion on this week’s topic:

Steven: Considering the conclusion of SHIMMER Vol. 44, I think the most obvious answer to this question would be Nicole Matthews. Nicole made it clear that she’s gunning for Melissa’s title at the last taping, and I’m almost positive that she’ll be leading the pack when it comes to title shots.

Your Two Cents

@DCBrown805 | Jessie McKay, Portia Perez, Sara Del Rey & Nicole Matthews, who all give it their best but Melissa stands strong all year!
@GaryOxide | The only people that are worthy of a shot against Melissa for me would be Hailey Hatred and or course Jessicka Havok.
Josue Guzman | I know it probably won’t happen anytime soon because of her Tag Team reign but I really want to see Ayoko Hamada go at it against Cheerleader Melissa! Hamada is one tough woman and seeing some of her matches from Japan makes me wish that she could bring that excitement here to North America. A match against one of the best here, current Champ Cheerleader Melissa, is definitely one that I look forward to watching!
Leron Mason | Portia Perez. She’s the REAL best in the world
Peter Chandler | Sara Del Ray! And Rate Tank, as Kellie Skater is awesome.
@themib | Hailey Hatred, Kana, and Nicole Matthews, who Melissa loses the title to.

And now we turn it over to you…
