Your Two Cents: Greatest WrestleMania Moments

“Your Two Cents” is our interactive feature where we gauge the opinions of our Twitter and Facebook followers on different discussions in women’s wrestling.

This week, we’re asking this: With WrestleMania 28 just days away, we want to know: What do you think is the greatest Diva moment in WrestleMania history? We’ve read your responses on our social media pages and picked some of the best submissions to highlight here on the website. As always, you can join the debate by leaving your comments!

Our Two Cents

Batting for Team DD this week, it’s Bobby giving us his personal opinion on this week’s topic:

Bobby: In my opinion, the greatest Diva WrestleMania moment would have to be when Ashley Massaro almost won the Women’s Championship…okay, I was joking. In all seriousness, I would definitely go with WrestleMania XX when Trish Stratus turned on Chris Jericho and joined forces with Christian! Honestly, I loved everything about Trish and Christian together, and I can’t really think of any matches that really stick out in my head. My favorite match would be the triple threat at WrestleMania XIX between Victoria, Trish, and Jazz but I didn’t start watching wrestling until late 2003 so the greatest moment for me I feel should come from one I watched live.

Your Two Cents

Glenn Cooney | Trish Stratus winning the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania XIX. It was an excellent match pitting Trish against Victoria and Jazz during the golden era of the Womens Division. Solid effort from all the ladies and Trish matched the Fabulous Moolah’s record for number of titles won.
Josh Andrews | Wrestlemania 9 when Luna Vachon debuted, accompanying Shawn Michaels. Attacking Sherri Martel at ringside and then later on again backstage was hardcore and certainly a “Wrestlemania moment”
Josie Michelle Pearson | Although I hated to see it happen, when Molly Holly got her head shaved!
Josue Guzman | Lita managing Edge’s match against Mick Foley at WrestleMania 22. This was Lita’s first (and sadly last) WrestleMania as a heel but did she play it well! Being that this was under hardcore rules, Lita was able to be involved in the match without the fear of DQ. She showed no fear attacking Foley, took some nasty blows and LITERALLY SET THAT MATCH ON FIRE!
Lydia Alexis Cyrus | Leilani Kai vs. Wendi Richter, the first ever Mania with Cyndi Lauper & The Fabulous Moolah!
@sofbomb | I think there are a few. First ones that spring to mind are Trish’s WM 20 heel turn and of course, Trish vs. Mickie James at 22. The first because I think that was one of the greatest moments of Trish’s career, period. It was unexpected and incredibly well done. I remember recording that Wrestlemania and replaying that moment over and over again for the following months. I was quite young when it happened, and a huge Trish fan, so it was even more shocking. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that. And it of course led to Trish’s fantastic heel run, so even better!

Mickie and Trish at Wrestlemania 22 was also amazing. That whole feud was unbelievably good, and that showed in the atmosphere that night. That match and the crowd involvement was right up there with the men’s matches on the card. That’s what happens when you give two talented women their time to shine; it’s just a shame it rarely happens these days. Mickie’s win was huge for her and even in defeat, Trish too left looking like a million bucks.

@SouthernSiren | The bumps Lita took in the TLC matches. It’s scary enough watching guys do it but wow I was even more impressed when Lita did it.

And now we turn it over to you…

What are your two cents on the debate? What is the greatest Diva moment in WrestleMania history? Tell us in the comments…

    Whatever is involving non-diva female wrestlers :P

    • No Holds Barred

      what? :S

      • Jhonmarco

        Just ignore that user.

        • Teri

          LMAO

        • AdrianRay

          Why did you guys start an argument with this woman? I’m more than positive this shit already went down. I was excited to come in here and read people’s views on great Wrestlemania moments, not this shit. Ignore the bitch. If you play in the Devils playground, eventually you keep coming back. That’s what he wants. In this case, I’m talking about Jennifer Garner. Let’s not rape the reply button people.

        • Jhonmarco

          Apoligies to you, AdrianRay & others who needed to scroll down this mess. This user just knows how to push my & other’s buttons. I know I’ve been known to get into arguements on here, but her ignorance is amazing. Seriously.

      • lbthewrestlingnerd

        Well divas bore the hell out of me. I like good wrestling.

        • Teri

          If the divas “bore” you so much, why do you insist on replying to threads that are diva-related? What’s the point in replying with “Whatever is involving non-diva female wrestlers :P” if you aren’t going to list any diva matches? I don’t understand…

        • Jhonmarco

          And liking the divas means I don’t enjoy good wrestling? Sorry but wrestling purists have even said Mickie vs. Trish, Trish vs. Jazz vs. Victoria, and Trish vs. Lita vs. Jazz were all great matches. Get off your damn high horse.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          I commented here because I enjoy some of the female wrestlers in WWE, not the models who can’t wrestle well. It’s not all the divas, it’s the divas that can’t wrestle I don’t like.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          I never said you don’t enjoy good wrestling, I just don’t enjoy horrible wrestling lol

        • Teri

          JhonMarco: “And liking the divas means I don’t enjoy good wrestling? Sorry but wrestling purists have even said Mickie vs. Trish, Trish vs. Jazz vs. Victoria, and Trish vs. Lita vs. Jazz were all great matches. Get off your damn high horse.”

          Apparently by their logic, I don’t like good wrestling as well. I guess I’m inferior to them. Perhaps if I memorize every single indy name there is, and name drop them every now and then (I think I might get bonus points if I name drop some obscure Japanese person), people will one day respect me.

          I can’t wait <3

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          For f*cks sake I never said you don’t like good wrestling. But most of the “divas” are horrible in the ring. And not every indy or Japanese woman is good either, there are plenty horrible ones out there. You don’t need to be a sarcastic bitch.

        • Teri

          ;)

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          You know you love me!

        • Jhonmarco

          “Well divas bore the hell out of me”

          LOL so they bore you?

          “I commented here because I enjoy some of the female wrestlers in WWE”

          Wait I thought they bored you?

          But most of the “divas” are horrible in the ring”

          I thought you liked some or do they bore you? make your damn mind up. Your so foolish it’s not even funny.

          Teri, I like my indy wrestling too, but I dont’ mention them 24/7 in every post. It’s pretty stupid. I don’t really udnerstand this user’s reason for commenting on a site called Diva Dirt. The fact that Kelly Kelly has more topics about her than SDR should’ve sent off signals that this site is more for mainstream than for indies.

        • Teri

          “You know you love me!”

          no thnx

        • Jhonmarco

          LOL, ouch….

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Jhon
          Yes, most the DIVAS bore me, not the female wrestlers in WWE. I don’t count the women who have wrestling experience as divas, and very few of the divas actually can out in good matches.

          I didn’t mention an indy women in this post at all. And it’s called the WOMEN’S WRESTLING Bible last time I checked. If there was a site that updated with the frequency of this one, I wouldn’t go here as much.

          @Teri

          I didn’t mean it like THAT. I assume you’re heterosexual and I doubt you’re my type or we’d get along :P. I meant as a friend, you really care about me :P LOL.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          put on* not out in

        • Jhonmarco

          You clearly missed my point, you claim you enjoy some of the women in WWE. Then you most are horrible? You do realize having indy experience doesn’t make you amazing. Sofia Cortez is a great example, just totally bland. I’d prefer seeing Layla or Naomi in the ring over her anyday. Okay, but take a look at how many posts are made about WWE and compare that to the indies. So you need to comment that frequently? Um okay, just letting you know it’ll be the same thing here on DD. You step on everyone’s toes with your comments. Claiming such stupid things on this site, you give indy fans a bad name and you live in your own bubble cool. It’s just hilarious to see how you judge the models, especially girls like Eve and Layla who have proven that they can go.

        • Teri

          “I didn’t mean it like THAT. I assume you’re heterosexual and I doubt you’re my type or we’d get along :P. I meant as a friend, you really care about me :P LOL.”

          ahhhh i see, no thnx

          ps. im gay, but thanks

        • Teri

          @ Jhonmarco

          You pretty much summed up why everyone hates joshifanx in one comment, haha

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          Well, I like Sofia (because she’s a good wrestler), but I like Naomi too. And Layla is pretty decent. I’d like to see all three of them. But other than those women, and the wrestlers, I think the other women are horrible in the ring.

          I know indy experience doesn’t make you amazing (I’ve seen it myself), but the majority of women in WWE are horrible (let alone not even close to being on the level of the indy women who can wrestle well, even though they should be, being in the largest professional wrestling in the world).

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Teri

          I assumed you were female, sorry. But awww, you hurt my feelings LOL :P And not everyone hates me. Just people who get all upset about my comments when it’s just a comment. It’s not like I’m wishing harm on anyone.

          wrestling promotion*

        • Jhonmarco

          Do you hear how close minded you are? So automatically being in WWE for a few years means you have to eb at the level of a Nicole Matthews? Wrong, other factors go into that. Many times it has been stated that WWE tell their women to dumb it down. Majoirty are horrible? Kelly and Rosa? That’s fair. Maybe even the Bellas, but everyone else is great. You have Alicia Fox, Tamina, Eve, Nattie, Beth, AJ, Naomi, Kaitlyn, Maxine, Aksana, Kharma, Paige, Tenille, etc. That sounds great. Sorry SDR, Mercedes Martinez, or Jessicka Havok aren’t there for you smug indy tastes. Sofia is so bland, an example of you prefering someone with indy experience rather than someone bland who trained at FCW. Take a seat please.

          Teri, ugh I thought she’d go away or at least stay on the indy side of topics. FML

        • mariah.

          “ps. im gay, but thanks.” Which is unfortunate for me :P

          But this conversation is killing me. LOL Joshifanx is back? Where have I been.

        • Jhonmarco

          LOL no trust me everyone hates you. Even indy fans on this site have said you give them a bad name. What does that say about you?

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          So you speak for everyone now? Interesting. Seriously, I don’t give a god damn what people on here think of me. I speak my mind, and if you don’t like it, that’s your issue.

        • Teri

          ““ps. im gay, but thanks.” Which is unfortunate for me :P”

          hahaha aww, well if it helps.. and if i’m going to be 100 percent honest.. i’m bisexual. I usually stick to the “im gay” thing because A) it’s easy, and B) I can’t be assed to ramble on and on (my views on sexuality) whenever someone asks me what my orientation is.

          I’m not really into labelling, I personally think sexuality is a lot more fluid than we think it is, gay/bi/straight is only something society determines, blah blah blah. At the end of the day, I’m into both genders but I PREFER men over women. I guess if I had to give you a number… 60:40 ratio? idfk, haha

        • Jhonmarco

          Let’s see when someone calls you out, everyone agrees, so yeah. And LMAO if you don’t care why did you even say “And not everyone hates me”. You confuse me so much. Your just annoying tbh, not even an indy fan is like this. Must be an attention-seeker.

        • Teri

          @ joshifanx

          I don’t think you understand babe. It isn’t the fact that you VOICE your opinion. The primary reason why so many people have a problem with you is the manner in which you voice your opinion.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          (I know you’re talking to Mariah)

          Well I know for sure that I’m 100% homosexual :P

          So are you female or male (I take it you’re male)? Some lesbians identify as gay, I was just curious.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Jhon

          Not every member is posting in this thread. And while some might not like the way I post, it doesn’t mean they HATE me. I’m not an attention seeker either, I’m just someone who hates the travesty of current sports entertainment (minus a few wrestlers) and I like good wrestling.

          @Teri

          Well I’m a very opinionated women, sorry if I come across as a bitch, I’m just very honest. I guess I would make a good heel!

        • Jhonmarco

          A lot of people hate it. You don’t see them acting like a bitchy troll.

          OMFG can you stop with the “I guess I’d make a good heel :P” just stop…

        • Teri

          “And LMAO if you don’t care why did you even say “And not everyone hates me”.”

          haha, i always find it amusing to watch when joshifanx says one thing, and then they go ahead and kill their own argument… all in the same comment

        • mariah.

          @Teri: That makes me feel much better :P

        • Teri

          “So are you female or male (I take it you’re male)? Some lesbians identify as gay, I was just curious.”

          Yup, i’m a guy. Hence I decided to put up a photo of myself given that people on the internet tend to think I’m a girl (teri hatcher, anyone?), which is totally understandable

          I think I already told jhonmarco this but, my mom was supposed to name me Teresa if I was a girl, but she ended up naming me Teri since I ended up being a boy. Apparently she had no idea there were several different (gender specific) ways of spelling Teri/Terri/Terry, lol

          On a side note, I REALLLLLY wish DD would just go ahead and open up a god damn forum so it would be a bit easier for all of us to communicate

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Jhon

          LOL just because someone tells me to stop something online doesn’t mean I’m going to stop. And I’m not a troll, I’m just me, thank you.

          @Teri

          I don’t care, I’m just making a point. Everyone could hate me for all I care, but one user saying “Everyone hates you” doesn’t make it true.

        • Jhonmarco

          “On a side note, I REALLLLLY wish DD would just go ahead and open up a god damn forum so it would be a bit easier for all of us to communicate”

          Agreed. It would be SO much better. Also, you could messege other memebers without flooding the comments like we tend to do haha.

        • Jhonmarco

          Just about everyone does though. No one’s making you care. Someone who calls women they don’t even know cunts and bitches is a troll or just a loser in my book and for a lot of people on this site based on past comments.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Teri

          I didn’t know if it was you or someone or TV from something.
          If I posted a pic of me, I’d get confused for a guy :P

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          I don’t ever recall calling someone a cunt, unless they posed nude or did pornography then it’s justified. But most of the “divas” are bitches in the sense they’re physically weak.

          Well, if having an issue with women who can’t wrestle, and women who objectify themselves is a loser, than I’m proud to be one! It’s not the first time I’ve been called one anyways.

        • Jhonmarco

          Not shocked that you’ve been called a loser. It’s just so stupid that you feel the need to call women you don’t even know a bitch. LMAO what a weak ass response for calling someone a bitch? So I guess following you dreams is objectifying yourself for girls like Beth. I’m sure you’re a very proud loser though. Your a sorry excuse for a human being.

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

          “But most of the “divas” are bitches in the sense they’re physically weak.”

          LMFAO.

        • Teri

          Wasn’t there this one instance when joshifanx called Eve a “little bitch” (I believe it was after she left some matchup where she shed some blood), which resulted in a shitload of people practically hounding her for it, ahahaha

          And thennnnnnnn, once she realized that she was in the wrong, she ended up twisting it and stated that she meant “Eve’s character”, and then tried to pass that off as if it were true

          ROFL

          good times

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          If you can’t handle bumps properly, if you can’t run the ropes, if you can’t take most moves, you are a bitch, sorry to say it. And if you objectify yourself, then that disappoints me, but whatever makes the wrestlers happy :) I just would rather see their talents appreciated and have them not be treated like a joke.

          The fact that you need to call me a loser for voicing my opinion shows how pathetic you are. Can’t wait to meet you when I become a wrestler someday :)

        • Teri

          “But most of the “divas” are bitches in the sense they’re physically weak.”

          ^ Sorry, still not enough to justify calling them bitches. Try again.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Teri

          There’s a difference between calling a person and a character a bitch. If you run backstage because of an injury, that’s the company portraying you as a bitch. I don’t know what these women would do about being injured if WWE didn’t portray them that way.

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

          LMFAOO Teri, I remember that like it was yesterday. I wanted to say so much, which would’ve resulted in me getting kicked out of DD.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Teri

          There’s four types of bitches

          1. Female dogs
          2. Physically weak people
          3. Catty women
          4. A sexist word for women

          I’m calling them 2.

        • Jhonmarco

          LMAO just stop your a joke. And LOL im pathetic take a look in the mirror. Your the definition of pathetic. Can’t wait to see your hot ass mess of a career ;) haha

        • Teri

          “If you can’t handle bumps properly, if you can’t run the ropes, if you can’t take most moves, you are a bitch, sorry to say it. I’m sorry, but I just can’t seem to take any of your comments seriously anymore. I used to find your comments obnoxious+frustrating to read (as did many others, rofl), but now I just find them amusing. Mainly due to the fact that you’re so unaware of how ignorant/dumb you can sound sometimes. I guess what I’m trying to say is, debating with you gives me the same satisfaction/amusement that I would normally get if I ever got into a debate with Snooki.

        • Jhonmarco

          Or maybe Eve didn’t want further injure herself? Don’t be so dumb. Thanks for being dictionary.com for us though. It doesn’t matter what you do, you will forever be a joke on here. And yes i know you don’t care LOL

        • Teri

          “@Teri

          …………………..ROFL. If this were a forum, that quote would have already made its way to my signature.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Jhon

          Okay hot mess of a career? Because I wouldn’t objectify myself or sell out just for money. You have zero idea what I’d be like as a wrestler.

          @Teri

          I’m just very strongly opinionated. But I’m glad I amuse you lol! I’m not ignorant or dumb either, I just don’t like women objectifying themselves and putting on horrible matches.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Jhon

          The Divas matches are two minutes. You can last two minutes in the ring with a broken nose. Wrestlers have finished matches with broken noses, let alone broken necks before.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          Well I have to go do something for work, I should be back in a few hours at the most, so don’t think I quit talking because “I know I’m wrong” or something >_>

        • Jhonmarco

          Did I say that? An ugly atttitude will get you nowhere in wrestling or anything in life. I dont really care what you want to be as a wrestler. Can you stop saying the same thing over & over? Like Teri fighting with you is just funny to hear what your ignorant self types.

        • Jhonmarco

          And you just assume Eeve was being a bitch and got out of the ring? You’re just so stupid. Won’t be missed at all, finally your dumb ass goes away. And yeah you are wrong but whatevs.

        • Teri

          “Well I have to go do something for work, I should be back in a few hours at the most, so don’t think I quit talking because “I know I’m wrong” or something >_>”

          What happened to “not caring”? :*(

        • Teri

          “Won’t be missed at all, finally your dumb ass goes away. ”

          ROFL

        • French.One

          All that fight for a “caustic” joke ? Really guys ?

        • Taylor

          Teri: “On a side note, I REALLLLLY wish DD would just go ahead and open up a god damn forum so it would be a bit easier for all of us to communicate”

          Jhonmarco: “Agreed. It would be SO much better. Also, you could messege other memebers without flooding the comments like we tend to do haha.”

          Yes! I think the team created one a while back, but closed it due to low activity. I definitely think they should give it another go. Most of us “regulars” have definitely gotten closer; therefore, we would be more inclined to post on a forum. Do it Diva Dirt!

        • Teri

          jesus christ, there are already 110+ comments on this fucking post, im surprised a good chunk of us diva dirt commenters haven’t been banned yet

    • Jake

      When Christian busted his head open during a ppv, they had to stop the match to fix him up. Does this make him a bitch or was he following the company’s policy? When Lita blew out her knee and had to finish a match early. Did this make her a bitch or was she being safe?

      I applaud the wrestlers who do finish matches with injuries but to pass judgment on these people who are getting injured to entertain us is sad in my personal opinion.

      People on here don’t hate you. They hate ignorance. You just happen to post ignorant comments all the time. You might not think it’s ignorance but to me and I’m assuming others to, it is.

      • mariah.

        This!

      • Teri

        10 bucks says that this LBTheWrestlingNerd cretin will dig deep into their bag of “Yet More Dumb Arguments” and reply with something along the lines of “BUT SOMETHING AS SMALL AS BUSTING YOUR NOSE ISN’T THE SAME AS BLOWING OUT YOUR KNEE”

        …to which most of us will say: “you’re missing the point” (yet again)

        • http://www.youtube.com/rockinred45mvs RR45

          lmao….after reading some of those comments, i wouldn’t bet against you.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          It’s not. It’s just a nose. If you run backstage because of a broken nose before a two minute match ends, you’re sad (whether the company is portraying you that way or it’s on your own). If someone hurt their knee, then it’s excused.

      • Jhonmarco

        Beautifully said Jake.

        • numero47

          The whole reason why this topic has 90+ comments! Lol

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Numero

          Because I said I enjoyed the actual wrestlers or talented women that have competed at Wrestlemania and not the diva type women and people flip out about it. When the women who can put on good matches contributed more positively to this business than the “divas”. Yet some one can say “LOL I don’t know who (indy wrestler) is. They aren’t good because they aren’t in WWE!” I guess you can’t voice your opinion on here. Sad.

      • lbthewrestlingnerd

        If you still continue the match after that’s fine, but if you run backstage and don’t come back out the company is making you look sad.

        And @Jhon I’m never going away. As long as I’m alive, I’ll still be around. And when I get into the business, you’ll see me there. I don’t have an ugly attitude towards good wrestling, I have an ugly attitude towards the fact that people can’t wrestle and that women objecify themselves. I’m not going to objectify myself and I’m going to be a wrestler, not a diva, so that has nothing to do with my plans.

        I think a forum would be nice! That way there would be more indy stuff to comment on. :)

        • Jhonmarco

          Blah you can save your little “I love indy wrestling” talk. Your an ugly human being & have an ugly attitude. You won’t get far with such a rude manner, whatever. EveLover is completely right. What’s the difference between a broken nose & knee? Such a dumb double standard. Your a damn fool…

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          LOL you don’t even know me as a human being. You have never even talked to me about things other than wrestling.
          I’d get far because I care about wrestling, I want to do hard work to be the best, and I would respect people in the business that I deal with.

          A nose is just a nose, you can still wrestle is you break it. A broken knee means you can’t walk. Two different things.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          Oh and if I broke a nose, I would continue the match unless they told me to stop. I want to wear a partial mask so it would cover my nose up anyways.

          The LEAST I would do if this was a multi person tag match is tag out and stay ringside until the match is over.

        • Jhonmarco

          Based on your comment, I’m not even interested to know you. You say that now, but you haven’t even trained, taken bumps, or anything. Talk to me when you’ve done shit before you say “Oh I would work hard”. A nose is just a nose? If enough damage is done to the nose, you wouldn’t be able to breathe MUCH worse than a broken knee. You don’t know if you’d continue the match, so don’t just say “Oh i’d go on with the match.”

          And yeah check out the amount of people critizing you & the amount agree with you.

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

          Let me ask you a question. Have you seen the news about that girl that fought & she died because she got punched in the NOSE ? This should tell you alot. NO, a nose isnt a nose. Pretty much like the little girl, that nose bleed could’ve & probably would’ve turned into something worst.

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

          A nose is just a nose ? LMFAOO okay, unqualified doctor.

          “NO, a nose isnt just a nose” **

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          Okay, just based on my comments about wrestling you think you know me as a person? How I am talking in a normal conversation, my political views, my ethical/moral views, how I am to hang around, you know nothing about me.

          I would work hard to be a good performer, I want to be good in the ring, and if I’m physically cleared to compete, then I plan on being the best I can. Oh and last time I checked, you guys aren’t wrestlers either.

          If I couldn’t breathe I’d tag out of the match. If it was a long match, then I’d go backstage, but if there were two minutes left, I’d wait. Look at someone like Allysin Kay for proof that you can continue with a broken nose though.

        • Teri

          “LOL you don’t even know me as a human being. You have never even talked to me about things other than wrestling.”

          The whole “YOU DONT KNOW ME!!! YOU CANT TALK SHIT ABOUT ME CUZ U DONT KNOW ME!” route that a lot of people seem to take when they’re backed into a wall is a bunch of nonsense. Regardless of how well we know you, you are so insanely transparent and it’s comical that you’ve somehow led yourself to believe that you aren’t. Even if a portion of it is a facade (which I highly doubt), it still says quite a lot about who you are as a person.

          PS. Joshifanx reminds me of this girl I knew in college who would talk so much shit, ESPECIALLY shit she has yet to do/achieve, and would ultimately never back anything up. Apparently at the end of one of our practice pitches, these two other girls on our team beat the shit out of her with a baseball bat.

          jk

          except for the first sentence of that paragraph

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

          Good for allysin kay, whoever she is. Im sorry eve isn’t a “strong” & that she’s a “little bitch” for doing what she HAD to do. One day, if you ever get injured, you’ll probably understand. Until then, I’ve learned my lesson not to ever reply to your foolish, irrelevant, double standard comments. I’ll just keep everything to myself like I have. Marco will keep you in check. Hopefully you’ll find an indy site soon because like said, your ignorant dumbass isn’t going to be missed around here.

          Oh and for future reference, no I dont love you :) . Have a nice “wrestling career” with that sunny attitude you got there. You’ll get fired in no time ;)

        • Teri

          jesus christ, there are already 110+ comments on this fucking post, im surprised a good chunk of us diva dirt commenters haven’t been banned yet

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Teri- No, I’m just saying that none of you on here know me other than when wrestling comes up and you attack me for liking wrestling and not supporting a sexist, homophobic, racist, jingoistic company and most of the women there (the ones who can’t put on good matches). If we met in a coffee shop or something, I’m sure we’d get along.

          LOL I wouldn’t get fired because I’m not going to work for a sexist company like WWE or TNA where that would be an issue. I’m saying if someone runs backstage like that, they’re being PORTRAYED as a little bitch, I don’t know what they’d do if it was up to them. It’s an attack on WWE more so than the women. And I do not care what you think of me thank you :).

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Teri

          Well all Erin has to do is say “Stop” and I will.

        • Teri

          “If we met in a coffee shop or something, I’m sure we’d get along.”

          Doubt it. Ignorance transcends all areas of life, and being around/listening to ignorant people speak makes me want to kill myself.

        • Teri

          “And I do not care what you think of me thank you”

          You see, you keep saying that… however if you genuinely did not care about we thought of you, your subconscious would have kicked in long ago and as a result you wouldn’t have replied to each and every one of us.

          lawl

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          The only things people call me ignorant about are my anti diva stances and my anti transgenderism. Other than that, most non-homophobic people consider me cool.

        • Jhonmarco

          Teri, tbh I’m hoping Melanie notices this & just bans joshifanx. Would love that! Haha

          What EveLover said.

          It doesn’t shock me that you mention an indy woman. Good for Allysin Kay, love her, but you do realize it was more WWE not wanting a bloody Eve on tv. Hell they even stopped Cena/Orton in ’09 because Cena was bleeding. Quit with the bs of “Eve is a weak bitch”. We are not wrestler? We’re not judging these girls like you in saying “Oh I wouldn’t get out of the ring like a bitch”. People are allowed to judge them based on their skills, but not saying things like “I could do that.” Especially when they’re not trained pro wrestlers. You realize wanting to be good & training hard won’t equal being the best? Girls like Christy Hemme had passion but in the end it just didn’t work. Passion doesn’t equal being talented.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          I reply because I’m bored and I’ve already checked my normal sites today. Find me some cool Tumblrs and I’ll stop replying so much :P.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          1. A divas match is two minutes. Get out of the ring and wipe your face off, and then wait. It’s not that difficult. It’s not like it’s even ten minutes.

          2. Well I plan on working as hard as I can to be the best I can. If I’m horrible, I’ll just get involved in wrestling another way. If I’m at least decent, I’ll train until I get to be really good. Some of the best wrestlers didn’t get it at first.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          If they want me to stop, all Erin has to do is say “Stop” and I will. It’s simple. By not saying anything, that shows me they don’t care. :)

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

          “Find me some cool Tumblrs and I’ll stop replying so much :P”

          Go find it yourself! Shiett.

        • Jhonmarco

          Do you think WWE cares? They don’t want any blood shown at all. Good for you, doesn’t change the discusting ignorance you display on here. As said many times, your foolishness & little bubble world of indies is so sad. Whatever though, I’ll always be here to keep you in check.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          I was being sarcastic about the Tumblr thing. I can find them myself.

          @Jhon Well if you want to mention double standards, men are allowed to wipe their face off and continue but women have to run backstage. Sad.

          It’s not that I’m in an indy bubble, I’m in a good wrestling bubble. I like some parts of WWE, I like several RAW/NXT/Smackdown/FCW wrestlers. I just hate the way WWE does some things, especially the type of women they hire and the way they treat their women. If they had a legitimate division, I would have nothing to complain about.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          little to complain about* :P

        • Teri

          joshifanx, i suggest you go about “forgetting your email/password” one more time. You’ve made a fool out of yourself yet again. Perhaps you could start over and pretend to be an entirely different person, and when we out you, you can provide us with yet another excuse (maybe you can give us the same “i forgot my password, you guys!” excuse just to throw us off).

          This time around, you should definitely consider typing in all caps and maybe… just maybe, we won’t suspect it’s you.

          Who am I kidding, all caps won’t be able to disguise ignorance and stupidity.

        • Jhonmarco

          Yup, that’s WWE for you, can you get over it now? Or are you gonna continue whining 24/7? Oh please even Mikas (a very knowledgeble indy fan) called you out saying you have a false perception of the indies. They treat their women like shit too, relaxe.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          Yeah sorry I get really upset about the sexism in WWE, wrestling is something I’m passionate about

          Oh yeah I also know that some indys treat their women horribly. WILD, that guy in Germany that wouldn’t let women wrestle either on the card or in his building, bra & panties matches, sexually degrading storylines. It’s everywhere. I just think that WWE should be held to the highest standard. I hope things change within the next fifty years, hopefully way sooner. If I ever get my own promotion, I’ll be a lot less upset too :P.

      • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

        “It’s not. It’s just a nose. If you run backstage because of a broken nose before a two minute match ends, you’re sad (whether the company is portraying you that way or it’s on your own). If someone hurt their knee, then it’s excused.”

        I dislike how double standard you are. An injury is an injury. If eve continued the match, you would’ve been over her regardless because she would probably botch a move. Point is, she’s protecting herself & following the the rules in HER JOB. That certantly doesn’t make you a “little bitch”. I mean, I would LOVE to see you perform with an injury in your future wrestling career :) .

        • redsandman99

          Well said.

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

          Thanks :)

        • Jhonmarco

          EveLover, you fucking preach! <3 ;)

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

          I already told you that I got my skills from you. I learned from the best ;)

        • Jhonmarco

          <3 gracias, I'm guessing your not on goodterms with joshifanx? LOL

        • Raekon

          There she goes again. -.-
          So much about “I’ll behave now” and so on…

          Because of her 3/4 of the threads first seite is filled with arguments again and only because she keeps returning to threads that involve divas only to bash them.

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

          LMFAOOO Marco lets be honest, who is ?

          Reakon, exactly! She just wont stop.

        • Mikas

          142 comments and only about 20 are about the subject of the topic.

          Why are people still arguing with this person, who is obviously a troll? lbthewrestlingnerd, aka IloveIndyWrestling, aka Joshifanx, and presumably also Laqisha/Snorlax presents itself as a ‘diehard indy fan’, yet has never been to an actual indy show.
          She also said she cant afford to buy dvds, which automaticly means all those indy shows she watched were obtained through downloading (great way to support the indies!).

          If she would actually visit some indy shows she would learn that most indy fans also watch (+ enjoy) mainstream wrestling. The stereotype ‘elitist indy fan’ primarily existed in the ECW days and the early years of ROH (2 companies who used the anti-mainstream sentiments as part of their promotional activities). Naturally you still have some elitist fans who pretend they are better than fans of mainstream wrestling, but they are a very small minority, and are usually just trolling.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Raekon
          I comment on indy stories but there haven’t even been Roundups recently. And my first comment was I liked the non diva women I didn’t say the divas suck at first.

          @Mikas
          I am joshifan but I’m not Laqisha whoever that is and I’m not a troll.

          And I can’t go to indy shows because there are none around here, and I can’t afford to go to them because I’m a single woman by myself just trying to make ends meet. I also buy the occasional DVD and I buy several matches but the others I watch through a coworker’s friend who likes to watch wrestling too. If I had money, I would go to as many shows and buy as many DVDs as I could.

          I never said I’m better than anyone, I just think that mainstream wrestling is currently horrible, especially the way WWE treats their women (TNA to a certain extent). I believe the largest company in the world should be held to the highest standard.

        • Mikas

          You dont consider yourself better than anyone, yet you enter every WWE and TNA related post on divadirt to mention how much WWE/TNA suck and how much better Jessicka Havoc is than the divas and knockouts. By writing those comments you are basicly saying that you have more knowledge about wrestling than other people, how is that NOT thinking you are better than them?

          There are many different forms of wrestling. You are no different than the WWE fans considering indy wrestling inferior just because they arent on national tv, TNA fans calling WWE fans brainwashed kids, or wrestling purists hating Lucha Libre/Chikara/DG because its not “realistic” wrestling. Wrestling is scripted entertainment, it all depends on personal preferences which is “better”. There is no need to enter a topic that doesnt interest you to enforce your opinion on others (unless you are a troll, in that case its exactly what you want to do).

        • Jhonmarco

          Mikas, wonderfully put. The reason I reply is just the fact that joshifanx is quite the troll, despite her typical bs “I just love indy wrestling, Allysin Kay is cool & Eve is a bitch” excuses.

          Joshifanx, see that? Not one person agreed with you. Guess not everyone hates you? Sure do dislike you though, but you don’t care right? ;) so pathetic at this point why don’t you just create another account because everything you post from now on will always remind me what an ugly attitude you have towards anything mainstream. Oh & save the “I want women to be respected” crap it’s gotten old a long time ago.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          @Mikas

          No I don’t go into every WWE/TNA topic, and when I commented on this one, I mentioned I liked the women IN WWE that aren’t the diva type women. And I don’t think I’m better than everyone. You, Dave Muscarella, Jhon, are some of the knowledgable fans on here. And yes, if you enjoy WWE that’s your business, I don’t think that makes me better than you. Some people enjoy Sy Fy channel movies over movie theatre ones, I do sometimes in fact. The issue I have is the fact WWE is sexist, homophobic, racist, and jingoistic.

          @Jhon
          Last time I checked, it was you guys that flipped out about me saying I liked the actual wrestlers.

          And even if I created a new account, you’d find out who I am, because my viewpoints wouldn’t change

        • Jhonmarco

          I’m sorry but when you comment “Whatever is not involving diva female wrestlers :P” it just sounds stupid. Don’t have a favorite moment? Why comment on it then? There are posts on DD I don’t care for, so I don’t comment. Why spread unneeded negativity? No one has a problem with your opinion, but the way you go about it is horrible. Look at Mikas’ comments & look at yours. One displays great knowledge, other one displays great ignorance. Point blank your view on wrestling is so ignorant. That’s something just about everyone on here agrees on, yeah save the “I don’t care” bs when you comment things like “Not everyone hates me :P” god.

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          My favorite moment would actually be Luna’s debut. :).

        • Teri

          “My favorite moment would actually be Luna’s debut. :)”

          That wasn’t hard, was it?

        • Jhonmarco

          How fucking hard was that? Like really?

        • lbthewrestlingnerd

          Haha well I did enjoy the other moments, but I’ll try to answer like that next time :)

  • Jhonmarco

    Mickie/Trish hands down. Great match and great build-up, just loved it. Mickie winning was even more great and that crowd was AWESOME.

  • Goodvibes

    5- Trish’s Heel Turn – One of the most Epic WM heel turns ever, although predictable it was classic storytelling paired with incredible booking.

    4- Chyna’s multiple WM moments – Winning the womens championship, her match with Too Cool VS the Radicalz , and her Turn on Kane to reunite with HHH.

    3- Sable and Marc Mero VS Luna and Goldust – Sable NEVER truly gets the credit she deserves, but this match cemented her popularity alongside the likes of The Rock and Stone Cold at the time. It was so unexpected to see this buxom blond pull out actual powermoves like the powerbomb and TKO.

    2- Trish VS Jazz VS Victoria – Was there ever a better wrestled match by females at Wrestlemania?, the crowd was right behind Trish all the way and this match made all three ladies look like legends in the ring.

    1- Trish VS Mickie – Hands down the most anticipated, best built , best wrestled and most unpredictable match for Divas at Mania. No two women have received a better build for a match in the WWE ever, the pay off was sweet and the crowd siding with Mickie signaled the start of one, and end of another Era.

  • Jake

    Trish turning heel at Wrestlemania XX. Shocked that wasn’t listed above but it’s nice seeing other moments that get pushed aside.

    Sable and Luna going at it at Wrestlemania 15 was another good moment.

  • StraightEdgeCRF

    Mickie James defeats Trish Stratus for the Women’s Championship.I can’t remember a better diva storyline since I started watching wrestling 13 years ago.

  • Teri

    For me it’s definitely a tie between the triple threat title match at XIX, and Mickie vs Trish at XXII – and here’s why:

    XIX: Excellent, competitive back and forth matchup, i’d say a match that could very well encapsulate exactly what the golden age of womens wrestling was all about. Still one of my all time favorites to this day

    XXII: VERRYYYYYYYYYYYY strong buildup. You could tell management actually gave a shit about this program and built it up both creatively and strategically. Pay off was excellent and the match itself was hard hitting and was filled with plenty of memorable moments (with the exception of the botched finish, which was such a damn shame). This was the last WM I actually ordered on PPV. I remember just DYING with anticipation in the weeks leading up to the event, and what was pumping me up even more was the fact that die hard wrestling fans everywhere were actually citing this particular match as something they were really looking forward to see. Quite rare in (mainstream) womens wrestling, imo. Oh and I can’t forget… the atmosphere during this match was fucking I.N.S.A.N.E. You could totally replace the video with a Cena vs Orton match, play it back, and the audio would still make sense. Very fucking cool moment for mainstream womens wrestling.

  • Melina&Mickie4ever!

    Mines will always be Trish vs Victoria vs Jazz. Trish 4th title win…I love that match one of my all time favorites if not #1 ^_^ next would be Trish vs Mickie. That whole match had months or build-up and Mickie came into her own….and I fell in love with her crazy ass More…lol

  • LadyGoDiva

    There are so many great Wrestlemania moments inside and outside of the ring its hard for me to pick one as the greatest.

    Lita interfers at the TLC match at Wrestlemana X-Seven -{Basically one of the my favorite moments when Lita interfers in a match}

    Chyna wins the womens title at Wrestlemania X-Seven -{The match itself was pretty short but gave a great WM moment}

    Sable and Luna vs Goldust and Luna at Wrestlemania 14- {Great matchup that held such a great feud between Luna and Sable}

    Trish Stratus turns heel at Wrestlemania 20 {Trish plays the heel role so well}

    Triple Threat Match-Jazz vs Trish vs Victoria Wrestlemania 19
    Lita vs Trish vs Jazz-Wrestlemania 18

    Mickie James vs Trish Stratus-Wrestlemania 22 {One of the favorite WM diva matches because the crowd really made it special by turning on Trish and cheering for Mickie}

  • mariah.

    I think everyone took the good Wrestlemania moments (Mickie vs. Trish, Trish’s heel turn etc.). But on a somewhat related note, E! News has been having a Wrestlemania week with coverage of the event and interviews and whatnot and tonight they are supposed to be doing a segment on the Divas at Wrestlemania so people should tune in to see what it’s about.

    • LadyGoDiva

      I’ve seen E! News talk about the divas last night and I felt they were sugar coating everything like the divas division is so great but in all actuality its not but I understood that they were trying to promote WM and all and show the good side to it and not the bad.

      • mariah.

        Boo the segment was last night? I thought it was tonight :(

        But regardless, I think it’s good that they point out the positive rather than the negative. I don’t think the division needs any more retractors. Besides, I’m positive things will be looking up in the next couple of months. The impending Beth and Natalya feud, Layla and Kharma’s return, AJ and Daniel Bryan’s storyline reaching it’s climax…

        • LadyGoDiva

          I agree that things will get better in the divas division this year and try to stay positive but its hard to stay positive when the progress is slow.

        • http://xlittlemissobsessive.tumblr.com/ kellytrishfan

          I can’t see anything getting any worst for the Divas this year, *knocks on wood* I mean if you think about it the girls lately have been giving some good character development. Eve/Maxine being portrayed as Maneaters, AJ being portrayed as a victim in her relationship with DB, Beth as the dominant Diva, Kelly as the underdog, etc. We just now need longer matches, and some consistency with the Divas in the storyline department. But if WWE really goes in the direction with Natalya/Beth, I think that’ll be a great start.

  • http://xlittlemissobsessive.tumblr.com/ kellytrishfan

    IMO, Trish did a great job with creating A LOT of great, memorable Diva moments for Wrestlemania. My personal favorites were Trish vs Jazz vs Lita, Trish vs Victoria vs Jazz and Trish’s heel turn. But my absolute favorite was Trish’s heel turn. I thought it was just brilliant <3 And I didn't see it coming and to have Trish turn heel on Wrestlemania, omfg. Just talking about it honestly makes me want to go youtube the video, lmfao. I hope some of the other young Divas (Kelly, AJ, Kaitlyn, Naomi, Eve, Maxine, etc.) get a chance to make really, really memorable Wrestlemania moments because right now, it's been awhile since the Divas really had a good match or moment at WM..

    • mariah.

      I think the last good Wrestlemania moment for a Diva was Natalya slapping Vince McMahon in the face at Wrestlemania 26.

    • Jhonmarco

      Agreed. Trish is the Wrestlemania Queen. She’s managed at WM, slapped Vince, wrestled in 2 triple threat matches, 2 big title matches, had BIG heel turn. Who else can say that?

      • BillyGP

        Trish wrestled in 3 big title matches the 2 triple threats plus her vs Mickie.

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

      I agree with you. Especially with what you said about young girls having a good mania moment. They could’ve had it this year & the year before. It’s sad they dont get this opportunity.

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/bxshadow23?feature=mhum EveLover

    You guys remember that “YOU LOVE ME NOW TRISH?!” storyline. The one that had the last GREAT match at mania. Mickie James vs Trish Stratus ? Yup, thats my pick.

    Forever my favorite storyline.

    • mariah.

      Kay, but I was just watching the match and my favorite part was when after Mickie attacked Trish’s leg, she started slowly spinning around basking in her own glory and the crowd went crazy! I still get chills from that.

      • jen07201

        Nobody could ever play that character like Mickie did.

      • Jhonmarco

        Yes Mariah! When Trish went for her top rope move and Mickie used the ropes to take out her leg and then just started laughing manaically I LOVED IT. The crowd was so hot for that part and the whole match in general.

      • http://www.youtube.com/rockinred45mvs RR45

        I thought it was so awesome how she took it all in after the crowd turned on Trish. Her maniacal laugh was truly awesome!

        • Jhonmarco

          RR45, part of it was Mickie’s fantastic character. Also, people were begining to get sick of Trish’s title reign over the women (which at that point had been over a year). They wanted a change & Mickie was a great person for change.

        I have two favorite parts;

        1. When trish went for the stratusphere & mickie got a hold of her leg & jumped down… then she made that crazy face “AHHHHH” lmfaoo.

        2. A little more of my guy side liked this, but when micke touched trish’s Vjayjay & licked her fingers.. Seriously mickie was a GODESSS!!! :’)

        Mariah, Im not even getting to our mickie conversation.

          Yup, as a guy the whole v-lick was pretty freakin awesome. Plus I was a lot younger, preteen-ish, at the time so it was even better.

          OMG Yes! The crowds reaction made it even better too. It was an epic match from bell to bell.

    Mickie vs Trish,Trish heel turn,Trish face turn slapping Vince and catfight with Stephanie,Trish vs Jazz vs Lita,Trish vs Victoria vs Jazz. Main person is Trish she is the true Miss Wrestlemania.

  • perceval

    Best match was Trish-Victoria-Jazz at WM 19, imo. Great from Trish’s entrance with the confetti all the way to the ending. Watch that one and you’ll see what’s missing in today’s Divas Division.

    Individual moment… Hmm, maybe, at WM 22, when, after the match, Mickie points to the sky and says “This is for you, Grandpappy.”

    Best moment involving a woman not in the actual match: WM 7. Miss Elizabeth steals the show. Such perfect storytelling, and the crowd’s reaction said it all. Yeah, that Hogan guy would have the Main Event, but it’s Miss Elizabeth that WM is remembered for.

    Best unintentionally funny moment: The mic picking up Lita yelling “Fall down!” to Christy at WM 21, as she and Trish are talking the new girl through the match. Christy then does as instructed… seconds after she should have sold the kick.

      Oh my god, that has got to be one of the funniest things I’ve seen on WWE PPV.

      I loved that! There were so many moments where the mic picked up Trish yelling stuff like “You ready?”

      If you watch Beth vs Eve from Vengeance, I think, you can hear Beth talking to Eve and the ref.

    She may not be a diva but.

    Linda McMahon rising from the chair at X7 is an OMG moment because NEVER has a single moment involving any woman at WM recieved that type of reaction and all that happened was she stood up from a chair.

    But speaking on diva terms I go with Steph Vs Trish catfight from the same match , it was the moment that set Trish on the course to become the diva she became , and besides no one is gonna catfight like Trish and Steph could damn I could them go at it and never get tired.

    I think everyone is dead-on with the Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James match being the best built-up Wrestlemania feud for the ladies, with a solid match to go along w/ it.

    If I had to pick a second greatest WrestleMania moment, I’d have to say the Sable/Marc Mero vs Luna/Goldust mixed tag only because that too had good build-up and really gave way to the resurrection of the then-dormant Women’s Championship, even though it was the Sable vs Jacqueline feud that cemented the title’s return.

  • Raekon

    I must say that even other mania moments were more flashy, I think that the first mania with Wendi Richter and Leilani Kai were the best.

    The feud had a great build up, the matches in between and on mania were hard hitting and the feud still payed out even after the mania match.

    lol at the comments above…..that must have taken up alot of time for someone …. on topic,my favourite wrestlemania momeny was chyna and eddie at wrestlemania. the match itself was so randomly put together, chyna and eddie really created momentum though as it went on, turning out to be imo wwes greatest couple. other highlights would be sable and mero tag (great build) as well as wm 19 and chyna turning on dx (with hhh) in 1999.

    This may sound weird, but I enjoyed the WM 25 divas battle royal. Only because I was excited to see the old Divas and was anxious as to who woulld win (ruined by WWE)

    • redsandman99

      I was excited for it but then they ruined it, which really disappointed me. Not only did it launch a dumb Santino angle (which took the spotlight off the girls) but then they didn’t even announce who was all in the match. We just had to play “spot the diva” as it went, which annoyed me.

      • No Holds Barred

        Yeah I never realised that Joy and Jackie were in the match until I saw the participants on DD.

        Thought we would wear the former Divas themes just 1 last time
