Brooke Is Becoming My New Favorite Knockout She Really Is Doing Great. Pinning Gail Kim 3 Weeks Straight When Does She Get A Title Shot.

It’s Nice To Know Gail Knows How It Feels To Be Hit With Eat Defeat

    Great KO match!

I loved the Flying bull dog from velvet(:

    Brooke is doing awesome!

At Sacrifise I could see Brooke vs Gail or Brooke vs Gail vs Velvet :D

Brooke is coming along so nicely. I’m really impressed by her. And somebody really needs to tell Robbie E to lay off the tanning

Omg his gimck is getting pretty old… Am I the only 1 that thinks it??

Brooke’s simply got all the goods and in a few years to come TNA can bill her as one of their biggest homegrown talents. It’s testament to her resolve that she bounced back from an abbreviated WWE stint through sheer grit and desire to be a good wrestler. I love this girl so much already.

I’m really happy Brooke didn’t give up on wrestling when she got cut by the WWE. She was always my fave from Xtreme Expose so i’m happy to see her doing good right now.

I think what separates Brooke from Kelly is that with Brooke, you get the raw enthusiasm of a wrestling fan, whereas Kelly comes off more as a cipher that was automatically primed for success. Then there’s Layla, who wiggled and wormed her into relevance by making the most of her underwhelming material. It’s nice to see that all three have become breakout single stars in their own right since the tacky days of Extreme Expose, where they felt clumped together in a bid to justify their wage slips.

Brooke is the biggest example of Model to Wrestler. Sure she could’ve gone back to being a full time model. But she came back with a vengeance.

    My thoughts on Impact (duck!)

-I really owe Brooke/Tessmacher an apology. Somewhat. I was one of the most harsh critics of her coming straight in thanks to Bischoff, acting poorly, wrestling even worse, and then disappearing. It’s heartening to know that some talents can do this the right way: she left and went to the indies, worked her cardio, focused on move exchanges and fluidity and selling. Here she is now. NOW TNA has to call her number b/c Lockdown was a disappointment. She’s a notch or two under Velvet in hotness, you could say, but not by much and she should be able to deliver what they need for a payoff in the KO’s division. Better than Gail/Madison and way better than the disappointing Gail/Velvet.

-I don’t think Madison Rayne’s gimmick works for being a second banana, I don’t think adding the sceptre helps either, I think she’s just raw upstaging out of frustration at this point, I could go on and on. This lady…wow. Her completely uncontested heel run, with clean pins on ODB like she was a jobber (now ODB is sick over and deservedly so), and plenty of others, drew nothing. The payoffs were quite lame whether it was Mickie (yay let’s say her name in a country drawl, that’s creative!) or Tara (what was that even about? who rode in front on the motorcycle!?). The ratings and match quality both won’t lie and neither will favor Madison. The karma of the Beautiful People’s death will follow her forever, I believe, because that was simply the best they’ll ever do drawing, concept and execution wise for quite some time.

They could rework Madi face, but she can’t wrestle enough and only goes above-average at the mean girl trashtalk, still not at TBP levels, but obviously in that vein. They could rework her as a solo TBP, but that’s what “Killer Queen” is and it did jack squat. Gail Kim has the dues, the ball, is being given more time to show her character and develop it. It’s paying off. The pairing of Brooke and Gail, if they deliver the goods on PPV (and maybe screwjob it to draw it out for a multi-match series for longer eval), could be an inspired decision by TNA.

Just think: WWE ducks Beth/Kharma incredibly, due to “plans” for Layla, and TNA is just doing whatever they can to stay afloat and capitalize on their slight edge in women’s execution (not necessarily talent overall). In other words, TNA *needs* to do their best booking for the women. WWE doesn’t need to do jack squat but give them 2 1/2 minutes for the guys’ bathroom break. F-U, Gerwitz.
