In Video: Preview of Sunny’s Emotional Pre-Rehab Shoot Interview

As reported earlier this week, WWE Hall of Famer, Sunny, real name Tammy Sytch, entered WWE sponsored rehab this past Monday after recently being rushed to the ER.

Prior to checking in to rehab, the former WWE icon took part in an emotional shoot interview with RF Video, declaring it the first step in her changing her life by exposing the personal demons she’s battled.

A video preview of the interview has been released featuring Sytch talking about her issues with alcohol and more.

Watch below:

Once again, best wishes go out to Sunny in rehab and getting her life on track.

Even this brief preview made me feel just a little sad of her:(

For me, that happens with Google Chrome & Morzilla Firefox, Internet Explorer updates it just fine though :)

        • GlamSlamFan

Exactly! I have Chrome and by Monday when I didn’t see the RAW discussion post, I realized something was up. So I decided to go on Internet Explorer and saw everything I missed! lol

She mentioned that on a daily basis she was always called ugly. No matter how old a person may be, words hurt. Words have an effect and whether I’m in person or on the internet I never say things like that about a celebrity or any other person, because you just never know if they are looking. I would hate to go about my life knowing or even not knowing that what I said has deeply hurt someone, becuase I know how that feels. We all may have our opinions about Sunny, which most have been pretty brutal, but we will never ever truly know a celebrity or what they are going through.

    • Aksana

Ageism goes so unnoticed these days.

Here is my thing with Sunny, or anyone else that has ever been made to feel “ugly”. It’s as W.C. Fields said — “It ain’t what they call you, it’s what you answer to.” so if she didn’t have the wisdom as an adult to surround herself in better company than to be put down and belittled daily that that’s a shame. However for Sunny what’s made her an ugly person is the ugly words she’s said and the actions she’s committed in her life. Whether they were at a dark point in her life or not. I do wish her the best in rehab though. Substance abuse is clearly a difficult thing for those who suffer from it so I hope she gets all the help she needs to become a better human being. I don’t understand the logic in discussing Vince, Bret, and the screw job in this shoot though, if it’s to dive into why she is the way she is and her screwed up past then have the integrity to keep it about that because it verges being about attention and dirt towards the closing of the preview.

    Off topic:

For all of those Americans/Canadians/Chileans who wanted to watch the Britani Knight/Paige documentary that finished airing in the UK half an hour ago it will be on my YouTube page in the next hour: Joshimaniac

I’m glad she’s getting help- she needs it.

Hopefully her outlook in life will improve too.

  • YouCanLookButYouCan’tTouch

I have not been much of a Sunny fan myself, especially with the rude comments that she’s made, but after watching this,I definitely see that she has a lot of personal issues, mainly issues with herself.I do wish her the best, and I hope that she does turn her life around by getting off of drugs and starts being a more positive person. If she does, which I am sure she will,I will honestly start having respect for Sunny : )

I might get alot of heat for what I am about to say, but before I go on, let me just say that I am 22 years old, have watched WWE since I was a young child, practically study the buisness, and have just recently graduated with a honours degree in Psychology – therefore I not some silly no-nothing fan who likes to shoot on people.

I do not buy one thing that woman says. For as long as I can remember, all she has ever did was repeatedly bash other – more superior and accomplished – individuals in such demeaning ways that I have had to stop reading half way through passages. Her body language throughout this preview portrayed her as the epitome of a lying attention seeker, and it was extremely embarrasing.

Look guys. Tammy ” Sunny ” Sytch had it going for her in WWE back in the day. She was gorgeous, could do great promo’s, could act and could portray a dominant woman easily, the perfect combination for success in WWE as a female. HOWEVER, her own comments and other people’s shoot interviews clearly imply that when other people came in (more specifically Sable), she was just rotten with jealousy. Personally, she was never the ” first diva ” or the ” road paver ”, she never wrestled. Sable did, and she hated it,. Sable was much more over with the fans and was willing to get in the ring and mix it up. Granted, she apparently had a ” no bump ” contact, but she still allowed herself to be trusted in the ring with top female grapplers and she did a good job of it. Sunny constantly bashes this woman (and others) for their success, and its rude and sickening. This is someone who could have allowed the torch to be passed, and went on to become a respected member of WWE alumni. But no, she has to constantly bash other people – men included – and make out she was this legend who the ladies of the WWE should all look up to. Yeah Tammy, I’m sure Jazz, Lita and Molly Holly all look up to you …

She has did it for years, and a shoot interview is not going to change my opinion of her in the slightest. If anything, this should have been a shoot interview with Sunny APOLOGIZING to the people she has hurt and beraded in the past. This should have been a shoot interview for Tammy to admit failure and her wrong doings and look to improving her thinking, her attitude and her life as a whole, NOT an interview which is basically a sob story about how sad and hard her life is. Newsflash Miss Sytch, your ” problems ” are nothing in comparison to others in need out there. Grow the hell up and stop shoving your garbage down people’s throats.

Omg thank you, nothing is ever her fault she blames everyone and anyone she can. She has issues because she was called ugly … ok … and when she did the “want to know how I got my first drink?” omg she is just the most insincere person and whats worst is that she supposedly wants to sort herself out and yet not one apology to any of the people shes bashed.

    • TheJoJoIsCrazy

All a brutal conclusion, I have to agree. I wasn’t impressed ith the preview. I was hoping for apologies and admitance followed by some honesty on her part. Even in her road to redemption in rehab she’s managing to point the finger at everyone else. All I have to say to her is…. get better. My advice though is that all the people who called you ugly and fat have won, time for you to prove them wrong.

  • MRvinaro

    OMG! she looks so diff

    Very old wooooooooooow

  • javiousmckenzie

Cry me a river … i have no sympathy for her she so bitter and jealous hearted i cant even take nothing she say as genuine nor serious chile let me be nice cause i will be reading Ms Shady not Sunny but Shady all day

  • Kessuki

i want to watch the whole shoot now. good luck with the rehabilitation program she has joined i hope it does her the world of good. im still not a fan of hers.

for a sec there i was thinking shes put some weight on and looks exhausted only a few months after being inducted in the HOF and then i remembered she was inducted last year. haha whoops

As much as i dislike Tammy, i really do hope she can get clean and live her life.
Is it just me or does she look alot different from her HOF introduction?
I wish they wouldn’t have cut off the screw job thing, i wanted to hear her “theory”

  • Bee_Miller

Omg this woman is horrific. You can tell that she is just theee biggest attention seeker. People that genuinely want to turn their lives around and get help don’t want the whole world seeing them during it. She just wants people to look at her as this big rockstar that is all drugged up and troubled, I mean the Marylin Monroe commet was almost laughable. I feel sorry for her, not because she’s “troubled” but because shes so consumed with need to be famous or relevant that it’s becoming embarressing.

  • art

I do hope she gets clean the one thing i dont understand is her bashing of other women..from lita to one of the bella twins yet she gets hurt when someone calls her fat & so on but she does the same thing to other women??…

  • Kantrell

..did this woman really say she wanted to die at 36 so she can be like marylin Monroe? *grasps for air*

  • jim462

Poor Sunny/Tammy sytch she has led a troubled life since WWE with drugs that ended up killing her beloved husband Chris Candido passed away becaise of them. Thank God she has decided to get help and to get her life straightened out that takes alot of courage were all behind you Sunny/Tammy/Sytch

    • art

Chris Candido never died from drugs from what ive read…

      • redsandman99

He died of a blood clot which was a complication from the surgery he had on his leg the day before his death.

  • The K@rmic HeeL

She looks a little bit worn, she just isn’t looking herself…? Sound familiar Sunny?

Ya I don’t know. I hope she gets the help that she needs, but karma really is a bitch. I’m not happy that this fellow human being is suffering, it is clear that she is a victim of her own device, but I do hope she comes out of this one strong and positive. Maybe then will she be real and honest and apologize to many whom she’s insulted and ridiculed. Get better Tammy. God Bless.

  • Firewalker

I have a hard time believing she didn’t have her first drink until she dated Shawn Michaels. She would have been around 24 at that time.

  • jayjayholler

I wish her the best, however I generally do not like this women.
