R.I.P. Paul. It’s only right that Undertaker carries the urn with him during his entrance at Wrestlemania this year.

      Yes.

I hope WWE puts him in the Hall of Fame either this year or next year.

    • Jcott3

Most likely, if they do induct Bearer, they’ll wait and induct him with the Undertaker when he retires.

R.I.P Paul Bearer. I always wanted to meet him and pick his brain, ask him questions. Back in 03 I met his cousin Juanita at a local Popeyes in South Texas. At first I didn’t believe her, but then she brought over family pictures of them together and it was a real treat. She told me stories about him and I asked her if she thought maybe he’s return to WWE. She explained that WWE wasn’t very nice to Paul and they weren’t in good standing. Then it was great to see that only short months later WWE called him to be with the returning Undertaker with his deadman gimmick. I was very surprised and happy to see him have another run. I bet Juanita (who also shared a funny little Luna story with me) was very pleased as well. God Bless the family as well.

What a great man, and and even greater manager!! All managers today, male or female, owe a lot to him, Paul set the bar, and set it very high

  • aldo

    Wow, that’s a surprise. R.I.P. Paul Bearer

  • Kessuki

RIP to the man and character. He was a top class manager – one of the best the WWE has had and he really helped Undertaker become a fan favourite. Some of his best times for me as ‘face’ was when Undertaker was feuding with Yokozuna, and the (grey gloved) Undertaker. As a heel he was brilliant when he alligned himself with Mankind and attacked the Undertaker with the urn during the boiler room brawl match & also when he introduced and managed Kane on his arrival to wwe.

my thoughts go to his friends and family.

</3 Uff. Well that was a blow to the gut…:'( RIP Paul. You'll always be remembered. So sad. Best manager of all time in my book! We love you Paul!!

  • Jcott3

I remember back when he was Percy Pringle in World Class and managed Rick Rude. I remember an interview where he said Rude was the one who helped him get his job with the WWF. I was just recently watching clips of him and Jim Cornette on YouTube not that long ago. A sad loss for the wrestling world.
