Today in History: Stephanie McMahon is Fired

On this day in history:

March 25th, 2002 | Former Women’s Champion Stephanie McMahon had some experience with title matches, but this one presented much more difficulty. In a Triple Threat match for the WWE Undisputed Title, Stephanie faced Triple H and Chris Jericho, with the stipulation being that if HHH pinned Stephanie, she would have to leave the WWE. As fate would have it, Stephanie was pinned by HHH, and was thus removed bodily from the arena to a chorus of “Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!”, the WWE’s official exit music.

I remember watching this when i was little, oh my lord. stephanie was so over the top.

The ending of the McMahon-Helmsley era, one of my favourite periods in wrestling. I believe Stephanie McMahon took Triple H to another level of heel when they joined forces. He was good, but in my opinion Stephanie made him look greater. She was ridiculously caricature with her acting but also compellingly conniving. I always dreaded the day this pairing dissolved, to be honest.

Yet I like their symmetry now. I wish we could see more of Stephanie onscreen as the tough-as-nails wife of Triple H.

Stephanie has always been one heck of a bumper, she’s not the best when it comes to wrestling but she can sure take a bump. I remember reading how she wanted to take a gore from Rhyno and be put through a tavle by the Dudley’s but Shane and Vince woudn’t let it happen.

She’s always been a great on-screen character too whether as a heel or a face, I hope the rumor’s of her getting involved with Triple H vs Lesner at WM are true because we haven’t had enough of the woman in recent years.

I loved stephanie and her reactions

The draft was great I honestly feel it helped superstars and divas get showcased more on
    Their own brand

I think Stephanie McMahon was the first and only woman to compete for the WWE Championship (even with the title Undisputed at the time).Kelly Kelly was the first woman to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship. Athough she was not the champion, but helping someone else keep their title.

Stephanie McMahon was and is one of the best female characters WWE has ever had. I wish she would come back for a good while to heat some things up. I realize she has children and wants to be a good mother, that’s all fine and dandy with me. I miss hating her to the point she won me over and I started cheering for her lol. She wasn’t even that good of a wrestler, but I enjoyed any match she was in. She did everything a ticked off daughter would do; piss of her dad, marry the guy he hated, etc. Her roles were realistic and that made things more fun to watch. Except that whole Undertaker sacrifice thing, though when I was a child I was terrified for her!

that why she always had HHH and Kurt and DX on her side all she need to do is take the ref to the side and boom there down and Steph put up the 1-2-3 it was always awesome!!!!
