In Video: First Look at WWE’s E! Reality Show, “Total Divas”

WWE has unveiled the first scenes from its new Divas reality show on E!, Total Divas, which is set to premiere in July.

The company aired some footage from the show on last night’s episode of SmackDown and I have to say, it looks amazeballs!

Much like other E! reality shows such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Chasing The Saturdays, the show will feature “confessional” videos with the Divas narrating the drama.

Check out the preview below:

We can’t wait!

Why am I not surprised the Bellas are just as full of themselves in real life as they are in WWE. Can’t wait for Cameron to put them in thier place. I know she won’t take no shit from them. Kind of annoyed how the preview makes the show all about the Bellas though. I hope the other girls get just as much TV time.

    • divaindemise

With the reality show format, the rule is that controversy = ratings. If the Bellas play up to heel personas on the show, I wouldn’t be surprised if the episodes largely revolve around them. If anything, it will be more entertaining than their in-ring efforts since returning.

    • Jinzo

Why does it not surprise me that smartasses like yourself will always look for the smallest things to nitpick at? “OMG why are they showing off so much on a TV show!? Why don’t they just sit there, be boring, and kiss ass?! Why are they bothering to try to stand out and make an impression outside WWE?!”. I swear some of you use the most ridiculous arguments ever.

      • i22

LMAO I was hardly nitpicking, just simply making an observation. & I’m a sucker for trashy reality shows so I’m all for TV drama which is why I said in my comment I can’t wait for Cameron to put them in thier place. Calm your tits sweetie.

I have no negative or positive feeling towards the Bellas, but I knew it would end up with them as the forefront of the whole shabang.

        • christopher_cc

@I22 i agree I’m all for dramatic tv shows and such if the bellas or any other divas can keep up as much drama and arguments as Tiffany pollard aka new York and bootz aka Larissa aurora and other big names in reality tv did then get why not

  • iLUVValets

I am so excited for this. Who was Cameron’s boyfriend? Why was Naomi crying? I can’t wait. I think these group of woman will become the first divas to actually cross over to hollywood. I will be supporting this

    • SherriShepherdWWE

I think Naomi was crying, because of wrestlemania

      • iLUVValets

Yea most likely, I would too. At least I know her and Cameron really do like and care about each other. For some reason I got a vibe that they didn’t get along

      • Nostalgia

        That was sad :(

  • SherriShepherdWWE

OMG I can not Wait, it’s Gonna be amazing, so excited yahhhhh

  • iLUVValets

I will watch this over regular WWE programming any day.

  • mscandy

I think this is a good way to create storylines (or something very similar), since the divas never get time on WWE tv for this. I don’t know if that would happen…but its great they are getting more time at all.

  • divaindemise

Makes sense that this “reality” show might seem like a vehicle for the Bellas. They left WWE to pursue other interests, which I strongly imagine included TV projects. If the girls are even a hint of egotistic as this preview portrays them to be, I would not be surprised if they once again depart from the WWE when this show wraps. Then again, if I were them, I’d be as colourful as possible in the hope they secure their own show.

Still looking forward to seeing how Natalya is showcased on the show. Even in spite of all the crap material she’s had to work with, ignoring her wrestling credentials is impossible.

  • charovnica

Oh,please! This will be just as scripted as anything else on WWE and E! .I hope their acting is good.

  • purplehaze

So, a countdown until the Bellas become full time reality tv stars?

  • wwestarlee

I will be watching for naomi, nattie, cam, and the Bellas but I don’t understand why Eva Marie and Jo Jo are on the show when they’re not going to debut on TV especially not Jo Jo especially since she’s 19 anyone remember that page has to wait until she was 20. I can see Eva Marie debuting soon but not as a wrestler maybe as a manager or announcer. Wish foxy and Layla we’re on the show

    • Raekon

I guess that they wanted to represent the side of the already established divas and then show some of the newcomers taking that route and showcasing how it is and how they feel about it.

      • k2evecrew

I don’t think its fair to the other divas to put them on the show so quickly . they could use Caomi as the newcomers or could’ve used 2 girls from nxt. I just feel like the current divas and nxt divas payed their dues by training and performing and dealing with the wwe lifestyle while these two girls appear out of nowhere and get to jump on tv. If I was a current diva is feel alittle disrespected by it

        • OJ Von Erich

Wasn’t this always the way with Div a Search winners though?

I see this as a positive, we’re getting to see their full journey from the beginning!

        • k2evecrew

Yeah I guess I didnt look at it from that perspective. I hope they bring something interesting to the show

  • Al

Oh, Bellas, Maria said you were smart businesswomen, but I didn’t believe her until now; they so clearly came back just because of this show. After that preview, it’s pretty obvious they are going to be pushed as the stars of the show. Next step is getting their own show; get that spin-off, girls!

    • DivaInTraining

I am glad someone else mentioned it, because the second I saw all the headlines about this show with the bellas being in every single newsline, I knew that this was apart of the deal they agreed to when they resigned. Its a good idea but I just hate the fact that they didn’t really come back go be wrestlers but came back t stay relevant.

  • iLUVValets

OMG @DIVADIRT I hope you guys do a live response commenting thread for this show!! Like the Raw Response but for this total divas reality show. I can only imagine the hilarious shade to be thrown in the commenting post lol

    • DivaMatches

That would be GREAT !! Lol

      • iLUVValets

        I know right

  • iLUVValets

Random: Ryan Locte is a Narcissistic douchebag, Haven’t seen his show and wont ever will. The commercials irk me to no end

  • DarknessRuler

Someone has to know what song they used for the promo or possibly what production theme it is!! Used Shazam but it lists it as WWE Smackdown -_-!!

    • PlasticAngelx

This reminds me of the song used in Lita’s Divas Do New York photoshoot video. The lyrics don’t match anything in Google and Shazam can’t find it. It’s probably a WWE song Jim Johnston wrote that they haven’t released yet maybe?

  • OJ Von Erich

I am totally excited about this show, it’s beginning to look great, we’ll get an insight onto their personal lives, the constant strain of touring & non stop working, the relationships backstage & FINALLY a focus on what we all come this site for… THE DIVAS!

I’m happy to see the Bella’s at the forefront of the show, they are charismatic & have a great selling point. Plus they would be the one’s featured as they are the ones doing the promotional work for the show, plus they are the most recognizable of all the current batch of divas.

I’m looking forward to seeing Natalie Eva Marie & JoJo Offerman, Eva-Marie has been very fan friendly, responding to all tweets & Facebook comments, plus JoJo seems very excitable, like a (Diva search era) Layla. I gladly welcome them to the division! :)

I’m pretty sure we will see cameos from all the other divas as the show progresses, but for now I see it mainly focusing on the featured divas, at least until the show becomes established.

I hope & pray we get a Stephanie McMahon cameo/insight, as I know that she is heavily involved in public appearances & representing the company.

Although I do wish we had Alicia Fox, I think she would have the perfect personality for this show alongside Natalya.

And selfishly I want the Lithuanian lovely, billion dollar baby, Aksana to feature. Playing up on her accent could be television genius/comedy gold!

Roll on July & bring on TOTAL DIVAS!!! <3

  • CandiceMichelle&TorrieWilson

    Wooh! I’m excited

  • SherriShepherdWWE

Also I should add, I love the fact they added to brand new diva like Eva Marie and jojo, because it’s gives us a look at what it takes to become divas an how hard they work and everything, so that will be super interesting and that also means we will prob get some appearences from the fabulous Sara Del Rey with the new girls

  • Anthony

I really can’t wait for this show!! Nikki Bella has enough personality to carry the show to begin with. The best part about this show is that, unlike any other WWE product..this is a full hour every week dedicated to the divas NO MATTER WHAT! I can’t wait…this will do wonders for the WWE Divas. I’m thinking if the show takes off, every season they can do like a real housewives type of thing and add other divas to the cast….gonna be awesome…can’t wait!

  • Melissa

Just incase anyone was still unsure about why the Bella’s came back.

  • sugarrush28

i’m really excited for this. And I think the moment where we saw Naomi cry was during Wrestlemania. I wonder if WWE cancelled the match so they could get this tv moment lol.

    • JamieKym

That would’ve been smart, but fucked up. See WWE is sometimes smart in disguise.

  • shannymac

This is going to be a damn mess. I can already tell there’s going to be a ton of manufactured cattiness and ~drama~. And you know goddamn well the Brie and Nikki’s jank asses are going to be in the center of everything, most likely with those two random actress/models they hired just for the show.

  • Liam ‘

At least we know that the WWE have some faith in the division. Not only this but showing the emotional side of it all too. Some divas may not be the best of wrestlers but that doesn’t mean they don’t have passion for what they do. This will open a lot of peoples eyes I think. I respect all of them, whether I love them or hate them. I’d find it difficult to do what they do. Kudos

  • Matt

The show looks awesome! I can’t wait to watch it! But in all seriousness does anyone else think Naomi looks like a healthier version of Michonne? But that wasn’t my first thought, I just hope they don’t actually fight cause that would be terrible for the division. Also I hope they cuss! I’ve always wanted to hear Naomi call someone a bitch! #NaomiForBGC12.

  • Juan

    The Bellas!!! <3

    • OJ Von Erich

      ^ ^ ^ This! =D

  • k2evecrew

The Bella’s are smart , I’m surprised maryse didn’t come back but then again wwe would have probably tried to take control of her fashion/jelewry line.
I think they may be focusing on the Bella’s due to them having the Kardashian look with the dark hair and olive skin and because they’re both dating big superstars . I want to see how Caomi interact and if they get along with the Bellas.
As someone else mentioned I don’t see why they put the two new girls on there I think its unfair to girls like alicia and rosa since they’ve been signed to wwe the longest and are the most underused . I mean they have Caomi to play the rookie role already and these girls have only been signed for like 2 months . They haven’t payed their dues yet

    • divaindemise

Agreed on Alicia. The girl has mainstream appeal, is just as marketable as the Bella twins, and has a fantastic personality. Even if Alicia is on her way out of the WWE, this would have been a great send off for her. Maryse would have been wonderful too.

As for the new girls, I can only think that by adding them, it gives the show another dynamic. Likely we will see one of them take to the lifestyle of being a Diva while the other doesn’t?

      • Spike7000

Who said Alicia Fox is leaving?, stop assuming crap.

    • OJ Von Erich

Like people have said before, I think it is to document the struggle to establish yourself when starting, getting used to the grueling schedule/training… I personally think following the 2 new diva search winners will be very insightful, I for one am pleased & intrigued to see this!

  • candice7000

I so can’t wait. I love reality tv like Basket Ball Wives, Love and Hip Hop, and The Kardashians. But now I get to see my favorite women in the world Divas have their version. Lol I bet the scene with Naomi crying is from Wrestlemania when she found out the match was scrapped. That would be sad, but funny cause it probably true. I can see Cameron being the fan favorite of the show because her personality is just so great and people could relate to her. I can see that The Bellas will be revealed as arrogant people. Which may not be a shocker to me. But they probably are cool to hang with but annoying cause they probably really talk about themselves. But Yay!!! Can’t wait!!!
