Live Coverage: WSU Presents “Queen & King of the Ring Tournament”

wsuqktrDiva Dirt presents live coverage of Women Superstars Uncensored’s Queen and King of the Ring Tournament airing on iPPV tonight, including the main event of Jessicka Havok vs Sami Callihan.

The show is being held at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey and starts at 4pm ET (9pm GMT).

21:00: Hi everybody! Adrian here. The show should be starting imminently.

21:06: We’re off! First up is Jake Crist and Nevaeh vs Pepper Parks vs Cherry Bomb, who are already in the ring.

Queen & King of the Ring Tournament – First Round: Jake Crist & Nevaeh bs Pepper Parks & Cherry Bomb

Cherry Bomb and Nevaeh start things off. Cherry Bomb playing mind games, tagging herself out and in. Eventually both girls tag out and we’re left with the men in the ring. Crist starts off strong, keeping Parks down. As the referee looks away to deal with Nevaeh, Cherry Bomb sneaks into the ring and hits Crist’s feet, but next time Nevaeh comes in and stops it, causing Cherry Bomb to headbutt Parks in the crotch. A nice sequence fom Parks and Crist, and the two women are tagged in. Nevaeh applies a wristlock, while Cherry Bomb attempts to counter with some foot stomps. Cherry Bomb gets control, but not for long as Nevaeh goes back in command with the side headlock. Snapmare takedown followed by a rolling neck snap. Parks comes in to interfere, but Nevaeh sees him and punches him hard. Parks punches back and Cherry Bomb capitalised with a pinfall, but only a two-count. Parks and Nevaeh in the ring now. Parks drives Nevaeh into the turnbuckle and tags in Cherry Bomb, who stomps her hard in the throat. A facebuster from Cherry Bomb to Nevaeh and a two-count. Cherry Bomb locks in a single-arm Camel Clutch wristlock-type move. Arms aren’t supposed to bend that way! Nevaeh reverses with a roll-up, but only two. Parks is tagged in, and applies a Masterlock to Nevaeh. The referee is distracted once again, giving Cherry Bomb the chance to land some offense. Parks gets a two and tags in Cherry Bomb. The pair hit a double crossbody on each other, and both men are tagged in again. Crist with a nice dropkick, but Parks drop-toe holds him into the turnbuckle. Crist gets up, goes up top and hits a crossbody, then tags in Nevaeh and they use some teamwork to hit a hurricanrana. Cherry Bomb is tagged in and Nevaeh goes for a wheelbarrow facebuster, but Parks breaks up the pin. Crist enters the ring and goes for a suplex, but Parks counters with a big book and a neckbreaker from the top rope. Nevaeh enters and hits a neckbreaker of her own. Crist enters but Cherry Bomb replies with a superkick, only for Nevaeh to come in and hit a backpack slam for the win.

Winners: Jake Crist & Nevaeh

Out next is Kimber Lee and Drew Gulak, ready for their match against Mickie Knuckles and Devon Moore.

Queen & King of the Ring Tournament – First Round: Kimber Lee & Drew Gulak vs Mickie Knuckles & Devon Moore:

Gulak and Knuckles start things off in the ring. Knuckles goes for the test of strength, but goes into a wristlock, catching him off guard. Moore gets tagged in. Moore and Knuckles take turns headbutting Gulak, and Gulak goes for a side headlock before tagging in Knuckles again. Knuckles and Moore are double-teaming Gulak, with rapid tags. Gulak escapes and tags in Kimber Lee, who hits two huge hurricanranas onto Moore, before getting finger poked. In comes Knuckles again, hitting Kimber with a massive chop to the chest, sending Kimber to the outside. On the floor, Gulak hits Knuckles with a big kick to the midsection. Knuckles, galvanised, throws Kimber Lee into the guardrail then sends her back in the ring. Kimber hits a jawbreaker then tags in Gulak, who gets put into a cravat by Knuckles, who tags in Moore. Moore hits a suplex, then Irish whips Gulak only to face the unforgiving wrath of Gulak’s Big Boot. Moore gets back on the offensive, then takes Kimber out. Chaos ensues, with everybody taking out everybody. When the dust clears, Kimber Lee and Knuckles are the legal women, and Kimber hits a German Suplex for the pin.

Winners: Kimber Lee & Drew Gulak

21:33: Out come Athena and AR Fox, both energetic as usual.

Queen & King of the Ring Tournament – First Round: Athena & AR Fox vs Ezavel Suena & Latin Dragon

Suena and Athena kick off proceedings. Suena with a snapmare takedown, but Athena capitalises on her timewasting with a snapmare of her own, then a monkey flip, and a mule kick. Athena missed the enzuigiri, but Suena does the splits out of it, misses a dropkick then Athena hits a dropkick of her own for a two-count. The men get tagged in. This is really fast. Latin Dragon lands a springboard crossbody, then a hurricanrana. Fox sweeps the leg and goes for the cover. Only two. Does it again, then lands a double leg drop and a low dropkick, followed by a high one. Dragon kicks Fox to the outside then hits an awesome corkscrew moonsault to the outside. Back in the ring, Dragon goes for the cover but only two. Fox hits some hard chops, then an Irish whip, but Suena interferes, sending Fox outside. Athena comes out to help and Suena hits a suicide dive to the outside taking out them both. Fox and Dragon continue the match inside while Suena sends Athena into the guardrail. Dragon has control, but Fox escapes and tags in Athena, who hits a massive hurricanrana onto Dragon, only to get superkicked in the face. Dragon tags in Suena, and the pair double team Athena with a Samoan drop-style move, only for Athena to counter with a DDT and Fox to enter with a dropkick. Suena and Dragon are on the outside, and Fox misses a moonsault, but lands on his feet. Suena and Dragon double superkick Fox, then Suena hits him with a Liger kick. Dragon makes the save, but Fox goes up top and hits another moonsault to the outside onto both of them. Fox sends Suena into the ring and goes up top, but misses the 450 splash as Suena rolls out of the way. Suena goes up herself now and hits a perfect moonsault, but only gets a two-count. Suena now with some hard forearms, then tags in Dragon, who follows suit. Dragon goes up top but Fox counters with a superkick. Dragon Irish whips Fox, but he flips out of the way and Fox hits a brainbuster for two. Athena is tagged in and lands a forearm to Dragon’s face, then a double knee drop for two. Athena goes for another but Dragon hits a, well, Dragon suplex, hitting Athena right on her head for two. Suena is tagged in, and puts Athena up onto the top rope, but Athena holds on and avoids the hurricanrana, then hits a flying double knee (not the O-Face, which the commentator erroneously said) for the win.

Winners: Athena and AR Fox

21:50: Marti Belle comes to the ring and attacks Suena, taunting her and telling her that she’ll never get her hands on her WSU Spirit Championship.

21:52: Making their way to the ring now is the “All-American Canadian” Addy Starr and her partner, Matt Tremont.

Queen and King of the Ring Tournament – First Round: Addy Starr and Matt Tremont vs Christina Von Eerie and MASADA

Von Eerie slaps Starr, saying she wants to fight Tremont. Addy retaliates, but Von Eerie sends her down with a snapmare. Tremont tags himself in. Von Eerie lands a forearm, and Tremont responds. Von Eerie hits an enzuigiri, then tags in MASADA, who lands a sunset flip for a two-count. MASADA goes in hard on the offensive, but Tremont escapes and tags in Starr who goes for a crossbody. MASADA is unfazed, and tags in Von Eerie, who hits a big boot for two, then a floatover suplex for another two-count. A high knee to Starr’s face from Von Eerie, who throws Starr into the turnbuckle and tags in MASADA. Tremont tries to enter the ring, but the referee reprimands him. While the ref is distracted, Von Eerie and MASADA double-team Starr. Von Eerie now with a camel clutch-style submission, pulling on Starr’s mouth. Some hard stomps now, Starr is being destroyed. MASADA interferes, but Starr somehow finds some energy and escapes Von Eerie’s grip, hitting MASADA with a bulldog for two. In comes Tremont, and we have a slugfest between the two men. Tremont hits a hard elbow for two, then goes up top but misses the frogsplash. Starr comes in, but MASADA hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and tags in Von Eerie, who gets a near-fall. Von Eerie hits a reverse Russian leg sweep, but Starr kicks out again! Von Eerie hits snake eyes, but Addy reverses with a big boot and an Irish Whip. Starr places Von Eerie between the ropes in the corner and hits a huge double stomp for two. The pair exchange fists, and Von Eerie sends Starr to the ropes, drives two knees to the back of her head and hits a belly-to-back suplex, but Tremont breaks up the pin. The action goes to the outside, with Von Eerie throwing Starr around the arena. Unbeknownst to all competitors, Starr manages to sneak into the ring before the ref reached a 10-count, and we have a shock winning team!

Winner (by countout): Addy Starr and Matt Tremont

22:08: Non-title tag action now, as WSU Tag Team Champions Allysin Kay and Sassy Stephie take on Marti Belle and Lexxus.

Allysin Kay and Sassy Stephie vs Marti Belle and Lexxus:

Lexxus and Kay are up first, with the pair exchanging hard forearms, then a headscissors takedown by Lexxus followed by a running high knee and a crucifix for two. Lexxus tags in Marti Belle, who rolls up Kay for two. Forearm strikes from Belle then a snapmare, into a low lariat and a near-fall. Both attempt an Irish whip, but it reaches a stalemate and Kay slaps Belle, who responds with a Thesz Press. Marti goes for the cannonball but Kay gets out of the way. Kay stomps hard on Belle in the turnbuckle, and continues with some hard kicks, toying with Marti, who is still stinging from her awkward landing. Stephie is tagged in, taking Marti down for two. Snapmare from Stephie into a repeated headscissors facebuster-type move for a two-count. High knees now from Stephie, then a big stop to the back. Marti dodges the clothesline attempt and tags in Lexxus, and they double-team Stephie in the corner with a lariat and a cannonball. Kay interferes and the match continues with Lexxus and Stephie. Lexxus hits a clothesline then a running senton, but only a near-fall. Steph goes into the turnbuckle and Lexxus charges into her, then hits a bulldog, but only two. In comes Kay, who hits a lariat for two. Lexxus rolls up Kay for another two, but Kay knees her in the face for a two-count of her own. Stephie and Kay double-team Lexxus, before Stephie becomes the legal woman, hitting a bridging front facebuster into a chancery. Lexxus escapes, but not for long. Stephie chokes Lexxus out on the ropes, then lands some hard forearms to the face. Lexxus counters with some high feet up, then an enzuigiri. In comes Marti Belle, who hits some clotheslines onto Stephie, then a straitjacket slam, but Kay breaks up the pin. Kay sends Lexxus to the outside, and the pair hit Marti Belle with a double-team facebuster for the win.

Winners: Allysin Kay and Sassy Stephie

Post-match, Ezavel Suena comes to the ring and taunts Marti Belle. Allysin Kay and Sassy Stephie celebrate in the ring, then Marti and Lexxus bicker in the ring while we go to interval.

22:56: We’re back from interval! It’s time for the first semi-final of the Queen & King of the Ring Tournament.

Queen & King of the Ring Tournament – Semi-final: Kimber Lee & Drew Gulak vs Nevaeh & Jake Crist:

Gulak and Nevaeh start the match with a lovely display of catch-as-catch-can wrestling. Nevaeh gains control of the match with a front facelock, tagging in Jake Crist. Gulak and Crist exchange forearms and fists, and Kimber Lee distracts Crist, allowing for a dropkick from Gulak. Kimber Lee gets tagged in, hitting some hard fists and boots to Crist, before tagging Gulak back in. Rapidfire tags from Kimber and Gulak, as Kimber hits a senton bomb onto Crist for a two-count. Another hard kick to the back of Crist’s head, and a camel clutch from Kimber, but Crist lifts her up and slams her onto her back. Kimber tags in Gulak, who headbutts Crist in the midsection. Gulak works Crist’s shoulder, but Crist escapes and hits a flying knee, before tagging in Nevaeh, who botches a flying forearm attempt. Kimber Lee comes in and Nevaeh hits a German suplex. Kimber no-sells it, but doesn’t no-sell the next one. All four wrestlers in the ring now, trading fists with each other. Crist superkicks Gulak, and Nevaeh does the same to Kimber, before Crist butterfly suplexes Gulak to clear the ring. Nevaeh and Kimber are the legal women, and Nevaeh hits a backpack chinbreaker, only for Gulak to interfere. Gulak misses a clothesline to Nevaeh but misses, running into a powerslam from Crist. Nevaeh and Gulak are the legal wrestlers. Nevaeh attempts another backpack chinbreaker, but Gulak counters with a Gulock. Nevaeh taps.

Winners: Kimber Lee & Drew Gulak

23:07: Out come Athena and AR Fox, ready for their semi-final clash against Matt Tremont and the battered and bruised Addy Starr.

Queen & King of the Ring Tournament – Semi-final: Athena & AR Fox vs Addy Starr & Matt Tremont:

The match goes to the outside quickly, with both pairs brawling outside the ring. Inside the ring, Tremont hits a huge powerbomb to Fox, but Fox kicks out at two. Fox hits a straitjacket stunner and tags in Athena, who sends Fox into Tremont before going after him herself. Athena goes up top and goes for the crossbody, but Tremont catches her. Athena attempts a shoulder block to no effect, but is right on the money with a tornado DDT. In comes Addy Starr, and she and Athena exchange fists, followed by a fisherman’s suplex by Starr to Athena. Starr puts Athena in between the ropes for her double knee, but Athena escapes and Starr lands knees-first to the mat, but kicks out at two. AR Fox comes in and atomic drops Starr, and Starr tags in Tremont again, but not before hitting a Yakuza kick to Athena. Meanwhile, Tremont goes for Fox, taking out the referee in the process. In the resulting chaos, Chris Dickinson runs in and takes out Starr! The match goes to the outside, and Fox hits a reverse springboard 450…something from the top rope onto the throng of people, then back in the ring hits another 450 onto Tremont for the win.

Winners: AR Fox and Athena

Post-match, Chris Dickinson takes out Fox and Athena, hitting his finisher on Athena, before Tremont comes to make the save. The two teams check on each other in a sign of sportsmanship while Dickinson leaves to the back.

23:20: Intergender dream match, as WSU Champion Jessicka Havok takes on the ‘Death Machine’ Sami Callihan. This is going to be awesome!

Intergender Dream Match: Jessicka Havok vs Sami Callihan:

The pair lock up, and Havok spits in Callihan’s face. Callihan lunges, but Havok dodges and hits a big boot. They argue in the centre of the ring for a little, and Havok slaps Callihan. Callihan responds with a boot, followed by hard stomps in the turnbuckle. Havok hits a massive clothesline and a flurry of fists. Callihan dodges Havok’s attack, sending her outside. Havok goes onto the apron, but Callihan hits a kick to the side of the head followed by a suicide dive. Callihan throws Havok into the guard rail, and hits a stinging chop to Havok’s chest, then throws her into the next guardrail, which she falls right through. Callihan sets Havok up on the ring post and goes for a chop, but Havok dodges and his arm goes flying into the post. Havok sends Callihan into the guardrail to level the score, and pushes him onto the apron. They exchange chops on the apron, then headbutts, then both hit a forearm and a big boot to each other at the same time, falling to the floor. The referee starts counting, and they both make it into the ring by seven/ Callihan runs towards Havok, but Havok counters with a big boot. Callihan responds with one of his own, sending Havok to the mat. Some hard kicks to Havok’s back now, then a chop to the chest and a leg drop for a two-count. Callihan picks her up, and Havok responds with a kick to the back of the head. Callihan dodges the clothesline attempt and climbs up top, but Havok pushes him off to the outside. The ref starts counting again, and Callihan gets up at nine and a half. Havok continues her onslaught, stomping hard, and hitting two stiff knees to the chest. Callihan catches the next kick, and they both kick each other on opposite sides of their heads, falling to the mat together yet again. Getting up, Havok spits in Callihan’s face again. Callihan responds in kind, and we have a slugfest. Havok is the first to go down, but Callihan picks her up and hits some hard chops. Havok is relentless, refusing to back down, and the pair exchange headbutts. Havok almost knocks Callihan out with one, rushing to go for the pin, but Callihan kicks out at two. Havok then hits a running boot to Callihan in the turnbuckle, then another. She goes for a third, but Callihan gets up and hits a lariat for two. Havok is lying in the turnbuckle helpless, and Callihan hits a running boot. Callihan goes for the stretch muffler but Havok kicks him out, taking out the referee in the process. Havok goes for an Air Raid Crash but Callihan escapes and hits a Saito suplex. The referee is out cold though, so the pin can’t be made. Callihan goes up top for a splash but Havok rolls out of the way and hits an Air Raid Crash, but Callihan kicks out! Havok hits a second Air Raid Crash, but again only a two-count! She goes for a third one, Callihan attempts a backdrop driver, but Havok low-blows him while the referee was distracted, and hits one final Air Raid Crash for the win.

Winner: Jessicka Havok

23:43: Time for the final of the Queen and King of the Ring Tournament.

Queen & King of the Ring Tournament – Final: Athena & AR Fox vs Kimber Lee & Drew Gulak:

Kimber Lee and AR Fox start the match off. Fox quickly tags in Athena, who hits a suplex, but Kimber counters with a jawbreaker, then some hard fists. Kimber tags in Gulak, who bodyslams Athena for two. Gulak Irish whips Athena, but she reverses into a roll-up, for two again. In comes Kimber, choking Athena out on the turnbuckle, then landing a sidewalk slam for another two-count. Athena rolls her up by surprise for two, and Kimber tags in Gulak, who bodyslams Athena right on her neck! That definitely didn’t look like it was intended. Athena stays resilient, hitting a dropkick and tagging in Fox, but crawling her way to the apron while Fox gets his high-flying offense in. Athena is still down, this looks bad. Fox continuing his assault on Gulak, driving him into the turnbuckle then missing a dropkick, and Kimber enters the ring, choking Fox out on the ropes and landing some hard kicks to his back. Fox kicks out at two. Athena’s up on the apron, thank goodness. Kimber and Gulak double team Fox, but miss the double elbow. Gulak then hits a Northern Lights suplex for two. Kimber Lee is tagged in, and Fox hits a neckbreaker. Kimber rolls out, and Gulak re-enters. Fox hits a dropkick from the top rope, then two suicide dives to both sides of the ring on each of his opponents, followed by a final one to Gulak. Athena and Kimber are in the ring now, with Athena knocking Kimber around with some stiff kicks. Enter Gulak and Fox. Gulak takes Fox up top for a superplex, connecting. Fox kicks out at two. Athena and Kimber are now the legal women, as Athena lands a sunset flip for two, then a clothesline, but Gulak breaks up the pin. Athena applies a cool-looking submission move, but Gulak breaks it up again. Gulak and Fox brawl outside, while Kimber hits a spinning heel kick on Athena in the ring for two. Fox and Gulak take their brawl to the seating area, while Fox gets members of the crowd to chop Gulak’s chest. Back in the ring, Kimber and Athena are still trading blows. Athena hits a Russian leg sweep for two, and Gulak gets tagged in, but Athena takes him out too, before tagging in Fox, who hits a high double knee drop, followed by a running knee from Athena for two. In comes Kimberly, who lands a butterfly suplex to Athena then a piledriver to AR Fox! Again, only a near-fall. Gulak hits some hard chops to Athena, but Athena retaliates with some stiff kicks, then goes up top and lands the O-Face for the victory!

Winners of the 2013 Queen & King of the Ring Tournament: Athena & AR Fox

Athena and AR Fox are presented with the tournament trophy. Athena gets the mic and challenges Jessicka Havok to a rematch for the WSU Championship. Havok comes out and says that’s a bad idea. Athena responds by saying she’s better than Sami Callihan. Havok grants Athena the match, saying that it will be a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match, then leaves to the back. Athena celebrates in the ring, then leaves to the back herself with Fox as the show fades out.
