9 possible remaining entrants in women’s Royal Rumble

Becky Lynch

Lastly, it’s hard to believe they will have a Royal Rumble match without the most popular woman on the roster, Becky Lynch. Honestly, she’s among the most popular wrestler with the company. That’s why she could easily end up pulling double duty on Sunday night, like Roman Reigns has in the past.

Asuka has only been champion for a month. There are more stories to tell there, and really, Rousey versus Becky is the feud they should want to continue to build. There are only a few possibilities that could happen in time for WrestleMania. The highest probability is Becky loses to Asuka, enters the Royal Rumble, and wins to challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship.

The Empress of Tomorrow could use the win too, considering she hasn’t had a definitive win over Charlotte or Becky. Losing the title match wouldn’t hurt Becky if she enters the rumble. In fact, the lost would make her entrance and potential win feel even bigger.

Those are my nine picks for the remaining spots, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the elephant in the room. This will be the first time Ronda, Charlotte, and Becky will be in the same building since Rousey interfered in the main event at TLC. How will that play into the matches on Sunday?

Everyone, including me, is assuming Rousey will stay undefeated until WrestleMania. Admittedly, the odds of her losing before that are pretty slim, but there is a chance Charlotte or Becky could interfere and cost her the title. Ronda debuted at the Royal Rumble last year and there were always the rumors she was supposed to participate in the match.

She has even said one of her dreams when she first came to WWE was to enter a Royal Rumble match. Could Ronda Rousey be one of the remaining entrants? Becky seems a lot more likely, but it’s not hard to see Ronda going on to win and challenging Becky either. It’s so hard to predict, but that just adds to the excitement.
