Tonight, Charlotte moved one step closer to becoming NXT Women’s Champion, defeating Alexa Bliss in the semifinals of the Women’s Title tournament.
Charlotte was able to overcome the tricks that had earned the rookie a win over Alicia Fox on last week’s show, hitting her finisher Bow Down to the Queen to get the pin and advance in the tournament.
She awaits the winner of Natalya vs. Sasha Banks, which will take place on next week’s episode of NXT.
The finals are set to take place at NXT Takeover, which airs live on the WWE Network on Thursday, May 29th at 8pm ET.
