AEW Dynamite: Discussion Post 06.04.21

It’s time for the fallout from Double or Nothing and we have a new AEW Women’s World Champion for the first time in over a year. At last weekend’s event, Dr. Britt Baker defeated Hikaru Shida to become the new champion. On tonight’s Dynamite, Baker will be having a celebration.

Also set for tonight is a match between Red Velvet and The Bunny. On this past Monday’s Elevation, The Bunny teamed with Nyla Rose to face Big Swole and Red Velvet. While the referee was distracted, The Bunny hit Swole with brass knuckles. This allowed Rose to get the pin on Swole and the win for their team. As a result, Tony Khan has book a one-on-one match for tonight’s Dynamite against The Bunny and Red Velvet.
