AJ Lee has returned to the WWE.
On tonight’s Raw, AJ made her first appearance since December’s TLC Pay-Per-View, running to the defense of Paige, who was being attacked by both Brie and Nikki Bella.
Moments prior, Paige seemed to have the Divas Title within her grasp, close to making Nikki Bella tap out to the PTO. However, Brie entered the ring to break the submission, blatantly getting Nikki DQed.
A post-match beatdown brought out AJ, who teamed up with Paige to chase off the Bellas.
When approached by Renee Young backstage, AJ made it clear that no one asked her to come to Paige’s rescue. She said she was tired of seeing the Bellas bully the division and decided to “give Divas a chance.”
