Independent standout Allysin Kay is set to become the latest female wrestler to ply her craft in the Land of the Rising Sun, Diva Dirt has learned exclusively.
The SHINE and WSU star will be heading to Japan for a three month tour with the Diana promotion next month, which creates for an interesting dilemma with SHINE — where her 90 day (storyline) suspension is due to be lifted while she’s in Japan. Quite the pickle!
Kay was ‘suspended’ during last month’s SHINE 10 Internet pay per view after interfering in the main event of the show. Her suspension is due to be lifted by late August, making her available to return at the promotion’s September event, but now it looks like that date is out of the window as Kay will be in the final month of her excursion.
When reached for comment, AK-47 all but confirmed Diva Dirt’s report and — in character — couldn’t help but take the opportunity to take a jab at SHINE.
She said: “SHINE thinks they can punish me? Well, I hope they have fun being the regretful ex, unsuccessfully attempting to fill the void I leave behind while watching me move on with my muscular new boyfriend.”
