Anna Jay out of action with a shoulder injury that requires surgery

Anna Jay will no longer be participating in the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament to determine Hikaru Shida’s challenger at Revolution. The first-round match between her and Britt Baker was scheduled to air tonight on YouTube. She will be replaced by Madi Wrenkowski.

Per the announcement, it says that her removal from the tournament is due to an injury. She is seen being checked out by a medical official who verified an injury to her shoulder. Anna Jay will require surgery and will be out for a possible six months to a year timeframe.
