WWE has officially announced that Bayley has sustained an injury while training for her upcoming Money in the Bank match.

She was scheduled to take part in an “I Quit” Match against SmackDown Women’s Bianca Belair. A replacement for Bayley in the match against Belair will be announced tonight on SmackDown. The nature of the injury has not been disclosed at this time.

WWE.com states:

WWE Digital has learned that Bayley sustained an injury while training for her WWE Money in the Bank match against Bianca Belair and will be out approximately nine months.

A suitable replacement for the SmackDown Women’s Title Match will be announced tonight on FOX.

Bayley and Belair have been in a heated rivalry for a number of months ever since Belair won the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania in April. Belair has been besting Bayley during their encounters and defeated her at WrestleMania Backlash and last month inside Hell in a Cell. Bayley pinned the champ in a recently Mixed Tag Team Match which led up to the “I Quit” Match stipulation that was planned for Money in the Bank.

Diva Dirt sends its best wishes to Bayley and hopes she heals up soon.

Check back in with Diva Dirt tonight for a SmackDown Discussion Post and join in on the discussion to find out who will replace Bayley in that match as well as how the rest of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match will shape up.
