During an interview with Cathy Kelley for WWE Now one day prior to this year’s Royal Rumble, Becky Lynch handed some high praise to WWE NXT UK’s Toni Storm.
Lynch was asked if there was any one woman on any of the WWE and NXT rosters who could reach the same level success, or higher, than Lynch, herself. Lynch responded by saying she sees plenty of talent in the women’s divisions, but one talent in particular stands out.
“Gosh, and I think there’s actually probably a few, which makes me really excited about the future, you know? But I think Toni Storm has just a wealth of potential. I think she started so young, and she’s so good. And if she can keep the forward trajectory going and keep working, she’ll be great, she’ll be huge.”

Storm saw the tweet and responded to Lynch, whom Storm had been quoted saying was her inspiration, in the past.
Though it was determined last night at Fastlane that Lynch will face Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship at this year’s WrestleMania, a match between Lynch and Storm would make for a WrestleMania-caliber moment.
