WWE Hall of Famer and all-around women’s wrestling legend Beth Phoenix revealed she once pitched a storyline to be Brock Lesnar’s sister.
Phoenix took to Twitter to let fans know about the detailed storyline she pitched to Michael Hayes when working for WWE as an extra.
Her tweet reads:
“Fun Fact: At one of my first gigs as a @WWE extra I pitched a detailed storyline to Michael Hayes to be brought in as Brock Lesnar’s sister. I had ZERO CHILL.”
Despite not landing the part of Lesnar’s sister, Phoenix went to boast an incredible wrestling career.
Starting in 2004 Phoenix rose through the ranks of Ohio Valley Wrestling and onto WWE’s main roster two years later.
The Glamazon went on to win the WWE Women’s Championship three times and the Divas Championship during her time with the promotion.
Phoenix left WWE in 2012 but returned in 2017 to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The following year she made her in-ring comeback in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match. Her participation in the match made her the first woman to compete in both men and women’s elimination matches.
